SHU HA RI🧠
Shu Ha Ri is a concept from Japanese martial arts that describes the stages of learning to mastery. It is relevant to various disciplines, including Design
The three stages are:
😎Shu: In this stage, learners follow the teachings of one master precisely, focusing on the fundamentals and techniques.
🥳Ha: At this point, learners begin to branch out, learning the underlying principles and theory, and integrating learning from other sources.
😈Ri: In the final stage, learners transcend the teachings and form their own understanding and practice, becoming one with the spirit alone without clinging to forms.
This concept is used to emphasize the progression from following rules, to breaking rules, to transcending rules in the learning process, whether in martial arts, agile adoption, or other disciplines.
