Kostas Chryssanthopoulos opened the case for the proposition by proudly stating that he is a Europhile. However, for him there iss no question that the EU threatened democracy, as he cites the lack of governmental transparency created by the organisation's infamous bureaucracy. He furthers his case by claiming that France and Germany's combined influence make it impossible to overturn a decision in their mutual interest. He concludes by saying that although this threat is real, it is necessary, as the only alternative is to destroy the individuality of member states, by centralising power further.

sweet kid, great to see actual students debate with the experienced voices
poor chap was so nervous still well done
This little speech contains many facts and much wisdom.
This young man expresses himself with originality. Ok, a little theatrical, but telling the truth. The EU has to end. What an octopus!
I'd vote for you, Kostas Chryssanthopoulos, anytime anywhere, you are honest, a rare quality in politics. Thanks for posting.
Well done young man. You are absolutely right.
This guy.. has got some good patter. I'm a fan
Well said. Let us hope that all the other young people in the UK can see as clearly why they should vote leave in the cause of their own future freedom.
Amazing erudite and well thought out responses in the comments section. On point, carefully worded and cleverly scripted to present a logical, empirical and intelligent counter to the speakers points.
He are so right, maybe he were a bit nervous but think just about his arguments.
what i like the most is when we(europeans) vote to elect the president of the EU. Oh wait, we don't.
The guy did a good job despite being visibly nervous.
Great to see Greeks on both sides of the debate lol
i think if he had be calmer and talked slower it would have gone off better but still great speech
This aged really well
I think his voice was broken atleast 60% of the time 🤣
Well said
You should see the bigger picture, dear ambitious Kostas Chryssanthopoulos. EU is fighting for a Better World, and the way to succeed that is hard, but it is worthwhile fighting for...
