Good reaction I love this song and it’s even better when the reactor doesn’t know chinchilla. I didn’t when I first saw this video. There is also a live version of them performing “how to be me” that is even more intimate and powerful.

Ren leaves his art open for everyone's own interpretation. Personally, I think it's about depression and mental health, which he has experienced so drastically. You feel like you can't go on, you're just a shadow of yourself. The chalk outline of you is there, but you're there, dead inside. You're given pills, which bring their own side effects of feeling dead. So you make your own new (bad) habits, whether that's self-medicating of a different kind, alcohol, over-eating, whatever. Those new bad habits allow you to smile big, but that doesn't last and isn't true, anyway .... So we are trapped in our own chalk outlines by allowing ourselves to be taken down these paths, but when you're barely holding on .., standing on your toes in the gallows so you can breathe ... sometimes we can't manage to get out. As to politics - no thanks. I have very definite opinions, but I enjoy reaction videos as a place where I get away from all of that, which I can find everywhere. Especially Ren reaction videos - the Renegades don't all think alike, but we are mostly aligned on being respectful in our right to agree to disagree.

Its got several valid interpretations.
People go thru life half dead for many reasons. Sickness, disorder, addiction, treatment, grief, etc.

Chinchilla had a campaign for President going on her Insta which was only hindered by the fact she's not a U.S. citizen. (Although it hasn't hurt Trump's campaign that he's not a human being.) Maybe Chin could swap to the VP role. Just imagine how beautifully she'd sing the Star Spangled Banner during the inauguration!!
In my opinion, I can't imagine any Ren fan is a supporter of Kamala's opponent. Everything he says and does is the opposite of who Ren is as an artist and person.

I’ve voted in every presidential election. It wasn’t too many years ago that we weren’t defined by red or blue in the USA. How we vote is only a fraction of who we are and I’m tired of fanatics on both sides getting all the media coverage. My 2 cents.

It's "Live" because it's "Live". I personally am disappointed when a reactor does the studio. I don't feel the studio is anywhere close to as good as this one is. ,, As a side note, I have zero interest in what my reactors' politics are. Interestingly, I find that most of my reactors are Conservative voters. So that works for me. If you aren't, and are going to start rattling Lib crap, I absolutely won't be subscribing. BUT I loved this reaction. I don't see the need to mix reactions with politics. It doesn't seem smart. You risk turning off half of your audience, for no good reason. You brought it up though.
