They were cousins after all, I have a special relationship with my cousins. I believe that the most important fact of that part of scripture was not told, the Holy Spirit coming in the form of a dove and The Father acknowledging The Son. Its important to look at all text, Jesus is important but His interaction with the other 2 members of the Godhead is even more important.

My God & my Father of my Lord & my God Yahusha revealed this to me - come and see... In the scripture of Genesis & in the scripture of Matthew the same baptism happened twice. Genesis is the beginning baptism. This is important to note, that Christ is "always" the first in baptism (which is renewal or rebirth).. Same language in both baptisms. Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and DARKNESS was on the FACE of the DEEP. And the SPIRIT OF GOD was HOVERING over the FACE of the WATERS. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God DIVIDED the LIGHT from the DARKNESS. Here God performed the first baptism. The gospel of Christ not John, but in the Book of John 1:1 testifies In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made THROUGH Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. AND THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS, and the DARKNESS DID NOT COMPREHEND IT. In Genesis the darkness was upon the face of the deep. The word comprehend not only means to understand but is a synonym to the word contain. Isaiah 59 testifies that sin is darkness, 1) Behold the LORDS' hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His Ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your inquities HAVE SEPARATED you from your God; AND YOUR SINS HAVE HIDDEN HIS FACE FROM YOU, so that he will not hear. So when God the Father called his Son out of Darkness He also separated Him from it. And when he called Him out of the darkness, the water was above and the Holy Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters which took place in the heavens because God called the Light Day. Christ came up out of the water into the Holy Spirit as well in The book of Matthew when John baptized Yahusha the Son of God. Baptism is renewal. Genesis 1:1-2 proves it. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void. By verse two the earth is destroyed in the beginning before the renewal in verse three. Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; And the heavens, they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, and all the hills moved back and forth. I BEHELD, AND INDEED THERE WAS NO MAN, and all the birds of the heavens had fled. I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down AT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD, BY HIS FIERCE ANGER. Genesis 1:2 testifies Gods' wrath. Why another Baptism? John 12:46, I have come as a LIGHT into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not ABIDE in darkness. Yahusha is saying the world is in darkness. That Darkness has contained or comprehended the world to itself.. In Matthew 3:16 - When he had been baptized, Yahusha CAME UP (coming out) from the water; and behold, the HEAVENS WERE OPENED TO HIM, AND HE SAW THE SPIRIT OF GOD DESCENDING LIKE A DOVE AND ALIGHTING UPON HIM. Same language in Genesis, same exact. And suddenly a VOICE came from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased". Genesis 1:3 And God SAW the light, that it was good. After Him all things by God are seen good because creation was baptised after him (renewed). So as of now by faith, there is no water baptism going on for salvation. How is that? Ephesians 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, YOU WERE SEALED WITH THAT HOLY SPIRIT PROMISE, who is THE guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, AS UPON US AT THE BEGINNING (Peter is referring to Acts 2:4). Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized by (not with) the Holy Spirit. Why do I say, "not with but by"? I'll come back to that. Acts 10:44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those WHO HEARD the word. Acts 10:47 Then Peter answered, "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized WHO HAVE RECEIVED the Holy Spirit just as we have? And he (Peter) COMMANDED them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Our baptism is now by faith. Romans 6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Yahusha, were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through Baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father even so we also should walk in newness of life. That explains that when Christ was baptized by John who was called to be a witness to the Light, we too from that moment when He began were in Him when we believed at any time regardless of time. So we too were on that cross with him. We too were buried with him. And we too rise to walk in newness of life.. Furthermore 1st Corinth 1:14 I thank God that I have not baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, LESS anyone should say that I baptized in my own name (I understand the context here, this is not what I am getting at). Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other. FOR CHRIST DID NOT SEND ME TO BAPTIZE, BUT TO PREACH THE GOSPEL, not with wisdom of words, LESS THE cross of Christ should be made of no effect.... Now lets not take away from Christ that He indeed is the God in Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Whenever the beginning was God the Son created. Hebrews 1:8 But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore GOD, YOUR GOD, has anointed You with the oil of GLADNESS (that is a tremendous blessing ecclesiates 5:20) more than Your companions." And: You, LORD, IN THE BEGINNING laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. THEY WILL PERISH, BUT YOU REMAIN (genesis)..... In the book of ecclesiastes 5:20 connects with the creation work of Christs' hands and blessing him with gladness. "For he shall not much remember the days of his life, because GOD ANSWERETH HIM IN THE JOY OF HIS HEART......
