We have a 10 yr old girl. Dramas, interesting not so pleasant talks happen. Some tween attitude, all are part of parenting 10 yr olds. Also, talking of Christmas and Santa Claus, our daughter already says I know there is no Santa, but can you please become Santa and give me a surprise. I definitely agree, that in this transition stage, girls develop a very very strong attachment and need lots of cuddling from their mothers
