Nifty video. It's cool to see that you almost got that old PSU working and even neater that you made your own- I guess I knew it was possible but I've never seen anyone do it before- any idea what the wattage would be on the new one and how it might compare to our current standard PSUs? I do love seeing these old beasts brought back to life. Very nice work and thanks for the video! You got a new sub :D
Hi, thanks. It was exciting to see it fixed for just a while. Pity it died again after so many hours working on it. But I think it helped with pointing us into the right direction to building a more reliable new one. (as did RMC's discord) The X68K PicoPSU uses a 120watt picoPSU, so a fair bit less than what most modern computers need. Documentation for the new board says the 120watt is fine for the X68K though. (There are higher wattage picoPSU modules available if we feel the need for it)
Stink out? WD40 smells *amazing* like Cream Soda or something 😀 Then again, I have an old friend who loves the smell of Creosote so much that she bought herself a paint-tin sized container of it, to smell at her convenience!! Weird 🤣
Sometimes the YT algorithm still shocks me. What a great suggestion 🙂Great video, great find, keep it safe!
Thanks, you too
The X68000 is an absolute beast of a machine, and damn does it look cool.

@@Kman_aus Thanks for the reply! Take care :D
터진 전원부의 전해액을 제대로 제거하지 않으면 지속적으로 문제를 발생 시키기 때문에
먼저 PCB를 최대한 깨끗하게 한 이후에 작업하는 게 좋음.
Wow so cool awesome video
Thanks!
