@@JBJHonez yea I have a ton of pines near me and it works great. I love the BOB it works great for my style of hunting which I usually don’t sit in the same tree twice. It’s lightweight and easily packs up in my backpack!
@@nativeoutdoorz good to know. It varies what tree I sit in each time I got because of the wind. I haven’t sat the same tree twice for the 30 or so times I’ve been out. I’m looking to downsize from my summit Goliath and go lighter as well. I appreciate the info
Since dropping this video I’ve actually started using a Genesis 3D Printing Hip Pinch Eliminator. Absolutely game changing product. Makes the sit soooooo much more enjoyable, I wish I would of started using it earlier and I would of spoke about it in the video but that gives me a good idea for a future video.
I learned about the Big Bob about a year and a half ago or so. It is the only caming platform on the market so I was very interested. It was a complete turn off when I learned they wanted $350 for a stick that could not be used unless you bought a cam cleat and rope. They have dropped they’re price to $259 which is much more reasonable. Many guys are adding at least 2 side steps to their setup. In doing this there is a weight shift off the stick. If the stick flexes up the bark it makes noise. The Bog Bob is dead silent. The only good one sticks will have aggressive teeth on the back of the platform. If properly set the platform will not flex up the bark and make noise. I settled on a Tree Top Hunting Mobile Sniper one stick because it has a larger platform and converts into a backpack so I may carry my top layers of clothing. I now carry only a Fanny pack and the one stick. I do not self video.
I agree with a lot of this, for me the biggest thing with my hunting setup that to look for is mobility and to be as lightweight as possible while bringing what I need. The Big Bob did that for me and I’ve had a great experience with it. I’m sure there’s other great sticks out there this one just worked well for me and my hunting style
I just got mine in the mail, im still about a month out from crossing t's and dotting i's for my saddle hunting gear so i can get out and get some good practice before this coming hunting season.
finally someone who shows it being on a pine tree
Pone trees are the best! They get the most bite on pine trees
@@nativeoutdoorz good to know. 90+% of vids are of hardwoods. we have some in my area but most are pine. what's your overall opinion on the BOB?

For sure, you’ll start customizing your gear for what suits you after a few sits. Best way to hunt out of a tree though!
