Excellent video. I’ve been in those shin busting conversations on Facebook. I’ve never thought to wrap my leg over and around my platform like that. I’m gonna have to give that a try when I bust my gear back out for some sweaty off season climbs in Louisiana heat and humidity.

Luv ur videos!!!! Just saw the new short with EWO single cam clear. When is that expected to be available? Thinking of trying one sticking and think this is a great option.
My same EWO with angled UP … I like the combination flat/angled top so I’ve got the flat part for making my moves and standing with my back against the tree, and obviously the angled section for when I’m leaning. That way I’ve got both angles available to me without rappelling down a bit to change the platform.
I ordered the big bob. Im just not a fan of the super short sticks. They tend to kick out easier. But the main reason i went with it over ewo was the ability to cam it over
I’ll be honest: camming the platform over is of zero benefit in getting the stick solid on the tree. I can get an Ultimate One Stick every bit as solid and tight on a tree as anything else. And I’ve never had a 12” stick move on me, ever - and I’ve got plenty of videos of me jumping as far out as humanly possible and literally slamming back into my sticks. The ability to “cam” the platform over is only a benefit to me in that if you’re not comfortable with the preset angle of most platforms you can adjust it to your liking and personalize it to each tree depending on the amount of lean it has.

Is the price higher than a fully loaded Ultimate One Stick?
I don’t believe so. Haven’t looked at pricing on either in quite some time, but I think they’re right in the same ballpark with each other.
