It's also crazy to me all the hate Geddy recieved for his voice. To me, growing up listening to Rush, it was epic! These guys own the soundtrack of my youth. ✌🤓🤘
I really don't know why (probably to do with money and greed) the music press had it in for Rush and as previously said they were hostile to the band, their music and in particular Geddy's voice. I for one miss the high pitch he had when he was younger. That along with his accent and the way he phrased and used vibrato was so mystical and magical. For me Rush are the quintessential progressive band of highly talented and gifted musicians that have ever graced a stage and boy did those three guys perform. Their shows were well thought out just like their music. They performed purely for their fans entertainment not like some of the egotistical so called gods, hero's and self acclaimed stars. Rush are the real deal and don't let anyone tell you different.

Bacchus Plateau is my favorite Rush tune hands down. The mix of bright happy chords and upbeat tempo together with the sad nostalgic lyrics always gives me a good feeling.
I have listened to Rush daily for the last 30 years and still never get tired of their music. Strangely, I don't really encounter many other fans or even people who have even heard of them in my day to day. However, I too spend many hours practicing my guitar enjoying the struggles and satisfaction in my attempts at recreating Alex's work. I'm not sure what it means to you, but I truly respect how much time you must've dedicated to mastering all these songs, and I guess it kinda makes me feel good knowing I'm not the only one out there still preaching the gospel of Rush!

Another outstanding cover which I'd expect nothing less of because you are like my second best role model for guitar, course Alex himself would be first, but keep it up, I'd hope to see some of the original rush album or maybe a little vapor trails/test for echo soon but its all about what you like, good job :)
Alex James I know pretty much those entire album accept lakeside park, not too bad to learn, now hemispheres is a time consuming album. I only know a bit of Cygnus x1 book 2 and all of la villa. I had to quit on that beginning of "the trees" 😂

(Bitichin) That's it in a nutshell. Keep the videos coming headless guitarist. One question is that guitar been moded at all? I notice it wasn't a Gibson but a knockoff Tokai.
