If he used a small battery 12V9Ah = 108Wh, for example from a UPS, he could take 100W for a while. This transformer has some class and can withstand short-term heating, so it can provide up to 180W of power for a while. @@mamiyaservice Apparently you found yourself in a different topic. The subject that is on the video is not what you want to present, is it? The 12V9Ah battery is used in small UPSs that can hold a computer for a while. The power they reliably supply is 108W (according to the 12V9Ah battery and the output transformer). Also helps insure that only the appropriate wires are soldered together. Cool project, Bruce
Of course he won't. The output isn't a sine wave. The waveform across the transformer is clearly a square wave and the output looks like it's DC given the secondary side power rectifiers and how they're connected. Also, based on the light bulb test and when he moved the pot to vary the oscillator frequency, you could hear quite audible high frequency vibration, so the output is likely very noisy DC at that which is also not surprising given the lack of much of anything on the secondary side to clean it up.

Suggestion: you claim to explain how they work and the basic operations but I hear nothing. Why not use the video and add audio explaining the components and why you are using them, and that you are doubling the amps. Add a schematic of the electronics used in the project and how many amps it can run. Maybe how to upgrade or make it run higher amps.
This video really does not provide what it says on the tin. There's no explanation of power inverters or electricity fundamentals, direct current, dc, ac, alternating current, single phase, three phase and split phase, electricity, pulse width modulation, variable speed drives, three phase rectification, let alone "more". I haven't gone to the trouble of completely reverse engineering what you've built and drawing a schematic, but there's no way this is producing a sine wave output as there's nothing in there remotely designed to produce a sine wave. You have a square wave oscillator from the TL494 and have connected it to produce what appear to be variable frequencies from about 10kHz up based on the setting of the potentiometer. It looks like it's probably producing DC output give the power rectifiers you have on the secondary side of the transformer in which case it's not even an inverter, but a DC-DC converter. It would have really been useful to see the output on an ascilloscope to see what it's really doing, but almost certainly not an inverter, not producing sine wave output. Most likely, it's producing a rather noisy DC output in the 200-220V range would be my guess. This will be ok for driving an incandescent light bulb and some electronics depending on how their input is designed. On the other hand, for other equipment it won't work and may damage itself or the equipment.
Nice construction, it inverts dc to ac. But I don't think that it can blow 3 kw output power. Even it's connected with a powerful car starter battery. The diameter of input wire is much to small. For 3 kw from 12 v source the input current is higher than 50 amperes. This needs a wiring thick like a pencil. But the circuit with flying wiring is good for teaching the circuit. 👍👍👍. We can't see if the output is really a sinus wave. To show it it must be connect to an oscilloscope.
Have you seen the circuits in an actual inverter that actually produces a stable sine wave at the correct voltage? This is kindergarten against that. (And let’s not even consider the 3000watts claim. This thing won’t output more than 100w before it melts away)

Why not use the video and add audio explaining the components and why you are using them, and that you are doubling the amps. Add a schematic of the electronics used in the project and how many amps it can run. Maybe how to upgrade or make it run higher amps.
Hay quá. Bạn có thể cho mình cái sơ đồ lắp ráp và đầy đủ tthông số của các linh kiện được không
All the electronics circuit DIYers, thrre is a thing called circuit diagram!
3000 W hahhhhhhaaaahahah
Amazing work 👍..no circuit board. Thanks for sharing 💕
Thank you for a nice comment
How to buy this inventer your product. Thanks.
Wrong head line ~~300w not 3000 maybe typng error
Thank you for your explanation. Next week will be a video in this regard with proof of the wave type on the oscilloscope
What a skill dude
thats good but you made a mistake in the circuit diagram you posted, the VCC is direct connected to the Ground
keren, bagus dan rapih
Terima kasih
Nice construction, it inverts dc to ac.
But I don't think that it can blow 3 kw
output power.
Cool! So fast.Thanks!
Thanks
7 sets of commercials for this video, Why??????
It’s funny you titled this vlog “simple” inverter.👌😀
Have you seen the circuits in an actual inverter that actually produces a stable sine wave at the correct voltage? This is kindergarten against that. (And let’s not even consider the 3000watts claim. This thing won’t output more than 100w before it melts away)
@@maxwfk yes, I’m totally agreeing with you. Yours is much simpler compared to production inverters. I was Just kidding. Don’t get me wrong. I appreciate this video. 🙏
Ну 3квт кншн сильно сказано, но чисто перед сном позалипать в видос прикольно будет
which Transformer you use
Please, I hope for a reply from you. Will the 12 0 12 converter work in the place of the converter in the video?
