It's really you breaking these cards down EFFORTLESSLY; not 1, not, but with 3 different and very distinctive decks and perspectives. This series is really making me want to get back into learning my cards. Well done Lisa!
you have no idea how helpful these videos are, especially the ones going over the keywords. temperance is one of the cards that i find hard to interpret and equilibrium is a hard english word for me lol, so i found a synonym that i absolutely love: evenness. your explanation helps SO much to understand the cards better. thanks so much!
That's so great to hear!! I'm really appreciating everyone's feedback SO much!! And I know you know your stuff already so hearing that you're still getting value out of this really does mean a lot! :) EVENNESS is GREAT for this card!!! :)
I've been studying the cards for 2 years but never had as many 'aha' moments as I do when i'm watching this series. Thank you for sharing such simple, easy to digest and remember explanations of the cards. Just brilliant!
Yay, more keywords! I've adopted most of these, but for the Devil I prefer "thralldom" - it has that undertone of "enthrallment" and is less snigger-worthy than "bondage" 😂
I can't find the words to express my appreciation for your sharing of tarot knowledge. No matter how long someone has studied/practiced tarot, there is always more to learn. Hearing your perspectives and ideas are what keeps this exciting for me. SO inspiring! Thank you thank you thank you!👏🤩💓
Also, "I still don't know what a baby deer... is called.......oh well!" Made me LMAO! 🤣 it's a fawn🥰 but you made me second guess myself, so I confirmed with Google!😂
Loving these lessons! I ended up picking up a new deck of my favorite that really speaks to me because I just couldn't write in it (plus it had no borders that could actually be cut off in the end) and It's been nice to hear what you have to say about the keywords and the cards and how I may feel differently for some or the same with others. Thanks for this chance to learn!
I gave up on tarot because it was so difficult to memorize the cards. Thank you so very much for making it easier to learn and retain. I ❤ this series! 👩🏽 ♊️ 🐦⬛ 🐈⬛ 🔮 🕊️ 🪬 🧿 Edit: I think I can pick my tarot deck back up and read it with confidence. 🥹🙂🙃☺️🥳
@LisaPapezI can't believe I'm the only one that loved 😍😍😍 "cattywampus"!! Ha! I'd never heard of it and promptly looked it up! I'm awed by your vocabulary! 😆 #logophile 😁 #booklife 🤓
I am loving these lessons. Seeing the three different decks for each card and your pointing out things, is just so amazing. I've really been struggling to see the symbols and meanings in so many of my cards. You are helping so much. Thank you! I'm feeling a tad excited. Maybe I can do this!!
I’ve always found the justice and judgement cards to be similar as well and loved the ways in which you described the two! Consequence and a chosen call to level up is a great way to separate them. I’ve personally never understood why judgement is called by that name as it really is very different to the meaning for me. Loving the course! Thank you, Lisa! 💚🗝✨
I finally got to watch these and was like some please tell Lisa its a fawn lol So far I used the same keywords except on the Wheel. I opted for "shift". For now I am writing in the borders but because this is a budget deck I may end up writing on the actual main art if the words resonate after a while. In essence making it an art/journaling project and very specific to me. Thanks for the inspiration.
ROFL Yah i filmed all these videos back to back and for whatever reason that day I just couldn't remember LOL But I tell you what, it's embedded in my brain nowwww LOL! LOVE the word "shift" for the wheel!!!
I just found and went through this series on the majors but I completely missed how new this video is, so I concluded you wouldn't be covering the minors. That caused me to continue where you left off and I followed your lead to designate keywords for all the minors, so now I have a completed training deck with your majors and my own minors. Will be interesting to see in upcoming weeks (as I assume you will be releasing the following lessons) whether we overlap or diverge toward different meanings. Thanks for the course.
Oh fun!!! Yes!! New lessons will roll out every week (with a skip on the first Tues of Sept and October) until we're through all the minors, including the courts! I'm also hosting two livestream Q&A check-ins throughout this series!
This is incredibly helpful. I have been trying to learn for the last year! I have read books, reviewed podcasts, watched RUclipsrs and honestly these words STICK. WOW! Thank you Lisa 🌈🦄
Very thorough explanation of the meaning of each card with very helpful keywords. Thank you for this tutorial! It just helped me to feel each card now - not just mechanically reading the meaning and trying to figure out how it applies to a current situation.
Lisa - your videos are so helpful and I am really getting a lot out of them,. I've been learning for a while, but stuck with books that have too much writing and insistence on me trying to "enter the card" when I just struggle so then keep giving up. Having these words and hearing how you describe each card is the best tool I've found so far to help me - you've reignited my learning. Thank you so much xx
This is such a good series on tarot! You give just wonderful insight and knowledge on each card that often I haven’t even thought about! I’m sure these videos are beneficial to everyone, no matter if one is a newcomer or advanced at this field. THANK YOU, LISA! 🦋🤍
This video was very helpful in helping me create keywords for and distinction between the Justice and Judgement cards which have always tripped me up. Thank you for this series, Lisa!
I found you later than when these videos came out, but I'm SO HAPPY I found you and your teaching on tarot! I've been doing some other classes trying to learn and this, by far, is the BEST!!!! Thank you!
Get out first to see this video....I love you Lisa. I want you to know I love your personality and your energy. So far this free course has been fun. It has me reading my tarot books more too....I fell a little behind but I will catch up.
I find it interesting that in the druid craft tarot rebirth is the judgement card since one of the reasons I love the light seers tarot is that Death is the rebirth card.
Death is probably my second favourite card actually 💜 The description for it in the druidcraft book makes me feel like its surprisingly quite beautiful.
Hi Lisa! Thanks for putting this class together! Super helpful and I'm enjoying it. It's so great to see you review 3 different decks as you go thru these too so we can see other cards/images and can understand how they fit in too.
Thank you so much Lisa for doing this series. It is making learning so much easier. I am way behind but so glad I have found my way here. I'm definitely planning on going deeper through your supportive tarot once I've gotten through this series. Thank you again so much! 🙏
I love the oak ash and thorn as we progress through this but just checked out the price and £330 seems to be the current cost in uk so off my wish list. But I love it
Umm it's 42.50 pound sterling if you go right to the creators website (linked in the description box)... Not sure where you're seeing it for that price?
@@Lisa_Papez will keep watching for it to come on our market at the original price as the Creators hopefully thanks again the one at the £330 was on Ebay.co.uk and stated that the deck was being posted from within Uk so don’t know why the price was so high x if I order from creators site there is tax and postage so still takes it out of my price range xxx❤️
I have only one deck right now and in this deck i have 2 extra cards "wuwei" and "duality" what keywords would you do for those. no matter how many times i read the guide book i just dont understand it.
Extra cards are tricky and so universal keywords may not be as helpful. Wuwei I believe means "nonaction"? But I don't know a lot beyond that. I'd look to the guidebook to see if any words describing the cards jump out at you! :) Duality may be the keyword for the other card ;) I'd read up on the concept of duality and/or refer the guidebook for that one too!
@@emmie6561 NOPE you absolutely don't, and if you're new to Tarot, it probably causes more confusion - so I'd recommend setting them aside until you feel comfy with the rest of the cards. Lots of readers never use extra cards. I do on occasion, but not always! :)
Depends on the species. The baby is generally a fawn (though I think baby moose are called calves?). In large species such as red deer, the male is a stag (or archaically a hart) and the female is a hind; in other smaller species they're called buck and doe respectively
