- Welcome in Everyone! Today we have a special video, my First 1/3rd Scale Statue Review of JND Studios Robert Pattinson Batman from The Batman (2022). It felt very refreshing to get my first statue piece in and I had a blast giving my in depth review / overview of this epic statue. JND weren’t joking when they say HYPER REAL. Apart from some issues, this 28 inch tall statue is a BEAST, I’ve officially been JND-ized!

Hi Riley, I am also a collector of 1/6 and is really thinking hard of having my first statue like yours, the Battinson since I love Pattinson Batman version and the actor himself. I think what you said is all in line with what I thought of this statue. Thanks for this honest review. Definitely helped in seeing the statue as it is.

Thanks for posting this video, it had a lot more detail of the statue itself than other videos I've seen. I agree with all you've said, about the likeness and the packing, that's so important. No body likes a pay that much for a statue only to open it and see that it's damaged.

I appreciate this review. I ordered my first JND Statue myself (Cavill Superman). Been looking for that perfect Superman Statue for a long time and JND hit nearly ever mark with this one. However, every once in a while I'm thinking of cancelling because I'm not sure if its worth it, but I think I'm going to keep it after seeing this review.
I appreciate your comment! Yeah, regarding QC it was a little scary. Hopefully they learn by Superman, which was a piece I was tempted on buying myself! Cavill is one of my favorites of all time, but I’m going with the 1/6 scale inart for him. I bet you won’t be disappointed, thanks for watching!
Yeah I tempted to get that Superman too but I got the Batman. I went with the inart Superman. I like all the posing you can do with it and the head sculpts actually look better than the JND one so far
This Batman is untouchable though. I don’t think anyone will match or beat this one

I received my first JND statue last week - Catwoman which is a stunning statue!
However I completely agree with you regarding the packaging. I bought it from a private seller in South Korea which was shipped to me in the UK. I was in perfect condition when it shipped but when it arrived the head had broken off, but worse of all it had cracked around the resin part of the neck and shoulder.
I had seen online it happened to a lot of the Catwoman statues.
I'm hoping to buy the Dark Knight duo next from an official retailer, so I'm hoping the packaging is better!
The statues are incredible in person! JND just need to improve their packaging for these expensive works of art!

I've never owned a silicone collectable before. The details on the skin are astounding! The pores and wrinkles make it appear real!
Do you know if there is any recommendations of looking after silicone so it doesn't deteriorate?
@@michaelwyles142 right! And I actually don’t. I heard it can last up to 30-40 years just make sure it’s behind glass or a case and doesn’t acquire dust

Repaired the broken head and the resing doesn't look too bad.
Whilst inspecting it more , I did find two fairly large paint drips on the left leg. From my collecting experience I know that no statue is ever perfect but I am a bit disappointed due to the cost of this statue.
As it's my first JND statue, I'm now hesitant on buying more. Mainly due to the fact that paying 2k plus or even more for the Batman duo, I would expect the paint to be near flawless.
Are there any imperfections on your Batman?

I just switched my order from the queens studios the batman to this one. I think this might be the best looking statue to date from anyone.

Fair score I think. Gotta agree the likeness is a little off on the unmasked head, also his expression looks very sad to me, which I don't think was the intention. Still can't deny that it's a great looking piece and actually made me browse some statues. It's a shame to hear about the shipping issues, is it packaged in Styrofoam? Congrats on what is surely a grail.
Yea I think it’s there but it definitely needs tweaking. Not a deal breaker for me since the cowl look does it for me. I’m glad that this made you look into statues! Definitely changed my collection for the better, they package it in white styrofoam yes but it is packed well. I think the sculpt on the body was what made the QC issues happen. Haha, as bad as the quality may be, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s not a perfect likeness imo. If it was as crisp as ever you’ll probably notice even less of Pattinson. Thanks for watching! 👍
I feel like the suit is just a tad too grey, but still it's the best option out of the 1/3 scale batmen statues.
I don’t think so, it might have to do with the lights I have on my setup but it looks pretty close to accurate. Thanks for watching and providing your thoughts! 🙌
@@Riley.Reviews JND work on the suit is in fact the most accurate of all. The suit itself is grey. People just have the misconception due to the big screen noir-ness and tone.
If anyone seen the WB real life display of the actual suit. It is literally spot-on. Congrats on this stunning piece.

This is great but JND eyes are always bugging out. They show too much of the white part of the eyes. Like they don’t push the glass eyes in enough or close the eye lids enough but very nice piece regardless. Not worth the price tag but very cool, I went with the Queen Studio one cause it is more movie accurate on the suit, cowl and color in my opinion but JND is more accurate then the prime one piece. Hello! Thanks for watching, I don’t believe you can see the hole for the barrel because it is fixed into the pouch he holds it in. If that makes sense, but I’m gonna guess it’s there because everything else looks to be 100% accurate. Hope this helps and congrats if you order!

Definitely one of JNDs best pieces. I'm usually not a fan of their stuff but this and their dark knight Batman are awesome. I still don't like the cowlless portraits though.

I think they nailed the head sculpt here. The hair looks good and it’s emo Batman. Look at the queens head sculpt compared to this one. It’s night and day. I cancelled my queens one and went with this instead

I’ve recently got mine and thank you for your video I opened the box right at the toy store which I ordered the statue. It was broken….. the collar was all shattered. Luckily they have another set so I opened that one it was all perfect. Thank you for your information in this video I have avoided some serious issues 🫡

I don’t have regrets! I’m still super happy with it, it’s nice to have a different scale statue in a 1/6 scale display. I think I’ll love it even more when I get the 2022 Batmobile from jazzinc above it!

Best thing to do is contact who you purchased it from and ask for a replacement/refund 👍
Hi, you are very lucky. Got mine last week and had same issue as yours, portrait was detached from his body and have some broken parts around the sculpt, I’m hoping jnd will replace my Batman, I sent a email 3 days ago & haven’t heard anything back from them yet.
That’s very unfortunate to hear, I was so glad to see no breakages. I think they will rectify your issue or so I’ve heard if you go direct. Just be patient and I’m sure they will offer a replacement. Thanks for watching and hope everything turns out okay!

How docyou take care of the silicone? Does it crack over time?
I heard silicone can last up to 30 years. And I don’t think there’s anything to maintain as long as you have it in an area that has no high humidity and it’s left in a dust free area. Thanks for watching!

Personally I don’t understand all the hype on the new Batman film. I mean it’s good but not great. The main villain is kinda forgettable. And the penguin doesn’t even need to be in the film…
That’s valid, I personally think this movie understands the character of Batman the most. But it’s all perspective!
@@Riley.Reviews I get what you mean. I see lots of potential, but at the same time, there’re lots of distractions in the movie. For example, if it has one less villain or one less something, it can focus more on the psychology side. Right now, it doesn’t feel like character driven to me. And the Batman character development isn’t much. His logic of “I’m vengeance” to the new epiphany isn’t that smooth or convincing.

I’m not exactly sure of a reliable spot that has the Pattinson open. But what I will say is one sixth kit tends to open PO’s for inart time to time. So stay on top of them for sure since they’re 100% reliable. Also hopping on the spec fiction waitlist would help too if he’s sold out 👌 thanks for watching my guy
