Always wanted to do Transpac. Grew up in Hawaii, parents hosted transpac boats and families. Race there for years and was lucky to race on many Transpac boats who stayed a while and did the local off shore races series. Better up my game, wander the docks. Not getting any younger. I'll say that the dockside parties have not changed since the days of Passage, Ragtime, Chutzpas...
Come on guys ! This is not a picnic . This a true test of ones caricature and an learning experience that tests a persons will . 2200 miles is a challenging event to say the least.
My dad raced on TransPacs in the 70’s and 80’s. Seeing Merlin again @11:45 was wild!! Great footage!
beyond excellent
What a ride!
Outstanding to all who raced! Wonderful video to highlight the fleets' efforts!
