Thank you for this video!! After getting new headlights installed at the Lexus dealer, my lights were a bit low and uneven (go figure). I was able to do this easy peasy at 10pm (with a light to see)! Now they shine and give me the visibility I’m supposed to have! I’m a woman and did this so ladies don’t be afraid to try it if you need to! I appreciate you!
OMG thank you so much!!! I was driving and couldn't see anything. I looked everywhere and couldn't figure out how in the crap to fix it so I was driving with the bright lights on 😂
Been getting people flashing their high beams at me even though I don't have mine on. Figured one of my headlights was adjusted way to high, thanks to your help I was able to adjust it and now both ride properly. Much appreciated
Thanks brother man, you are the best!!! I have IS250 2007 EU model so it looked a bit different and mechanism was little bit stuck but luckily guys at Lexus factory had taken this into account and added 8mm bolt position so it was easy to wrench! My problem was that previous owner installed coil lowers so the height sensor thinks it needs to lower the headlights lol
I just replaced the HID bulbs on my 2010 Lexus ES350 and tried to adjust them but when I put the screw driver in the hole nothing catches can you help me?
I know its been a minute since you posted this. I am thankful for your posting it. Question. My AFS button is missing. Can I still manually adjust the position of my driver headlight by following the counter-clockwise turn from under the hood? I am going to try regardless. Like you, my lights face down and not out far enough even on bright.
Thanks for the info, i'm gotta try this on my 2011 Lexus. I just tried with a long philips screwdriver and it hit bottom. Are we talking about a 2 foot screwdriver or longer. lolz
Did it work for you? I adjusted it last time but the afs was on maybe I should do with what this guy did and turn it off beforehand and then turn it on again
so ever run into the situation where your lowbeams are properly aimed but your highbeams are pointed way too high? info about this issue seems to be non-existent.
@@Nissannx2000svg Really appreciate the answer, follow up question, I got 2 holes, one is the one from your vid, the other is directly above the low beam through a hole in the frame, it was my understand that this was for horizontal adjustment, am I just mistaken and that is the high beam adjustment? or is there a 3rd adjustment somewhere I need to go looking for?
Mine has an empty place where it should be. Recently though a car repair shop owner had the same model, several things are missing from mine, and/or replaced with older appearing parts-such as a custom safe that was in my glove box, front seat is now worn and passenger seat controls don’t work, side panel lights for driver door no longer work, lights (which brought me here) no longer facing out.
Bro it's literally 2 am here and I just went outside in 20 degree weather to do this and finally after a year I was able to do it so thank you!
It be like that 🤣

If the button is not there you can still adjust them manually like I did. I think it’s better without the system to me ( less headaches ).
@@Nissannx2000svg THANK YOU! I didn't get to it today, but I surely will soon!

it's like 3-4" deep i just adjusted my headlights
I’m having the same problem did you figure it out ?
Thanks for the video, do you turn the afs back on after you adjust them?
Yes I did
Thank you!
What year es350? My 3017 es 350 does not seem to have the holes you mention.
2007-2012
The Toyota/Lexus clips are great. Push down to release and lift them out. Far superior to the domestic stuff.
Thanks for bothering to share this information. 👍
Bro. What you do for a living?
So should be AFS be off ? Mine keep displaying and blinking AFS off.
Yes it should be turned off first.

Let’s go brandon 🍦🍦🍦
53,000 miles for a 12 year old car, wow!
Would’ve been lower had the car wasn’t used to drive back n forth to Florida and Texas from NYC
This didn’t work for my 2010 😞 there isn’t any holes on top of the light where the Philips screw driver goes
Did you ever find out how to adjust it
?
Ok so step 1. Turn AFS off
Step 2. Use Philips head screwdriver
Wrong mine doesn’t have that button
