@@Robert-rl7rd It's the riffing style dude. I think the only think holding this album back from being full Nu-Metal is the drums and only a few riff parts when they go full dimebag on it especially the solos.
Awsome tune! Really helped me get through some very bad times as a teenager when I needed to get my aggressions out due to bullying and all kinds of bad stuff that people delighted in inflicting on me. I'm a stronger man now and I'm glad Machine Head's music was there for me
+Menno van Meegen Nice one!!! It goes something like this: "they'll clean their needles in their shrine in ignorance it's bliss you find why can't you fuckin' open open up you eyes" Last two lines are the Kfsjtfjsjs :)
This and Davidian are my two favorite songs by you guys! working on the flight deck and listening to Blood for blood or Davidian goes hand in hand. Machine FUCKIN Head
Listen, i understand your point also. Trust me, MH is (was) one of my favorite bands, saw them live and everything. It's just that whole thing of following i must say, a trend, in some sense, with Supercharger toward rap-nu-metal, and with TTAOE toward sound of Killswitch Engage/ In Flames/ Trivium. One thing is evolving, the other is drastically changing sound when trends demand. I'm not saying they should be the same like Slayer every time, but i liked the consistency of the first 2 albums.
In another life, Robb Flynn will come back as Phil Anselmo's brother. It's amazing how similar the two of them sound like each other, I find. To the credit of each of them, they both have characteristics that make them each unique! They both kick ass. /m/.
man you guys are a fucking huge inspiration to my life and my music! i try listen to at least 1 of your songs a day! i havent let you down for 2 years! MACHINE-FUCKING-HEAD!
The Best Power Metal band!! 4 me of course, pantera were great but machine is top shit!!!! and im a hiphop head... saw them live back in 2000,great show!!!!
@roh00002 Logan was the hearth and soul of the original MH. All the innovative techniques he shaped MH sound with (drop-D tunings, pinch harmonics, syncopated riff patterns) are gone now. At first i thought Ahrue Luster was the cause of MH demise later, but it was the absence of Logan. I miss the old street-vibe MH.
@nivenheim you're right I need to go back to school because my computer lagged and added another "by" by accident and i abbreviated the word "you're" even though I obviously know how to use it properly. Also no one spells "Spelled" Spelt anymore, if they even used to.
I seriously think this intro needs to be used as a fire alarm, every morning in work we have a drill...why not make it fun? Then again if it went off I'd probably start a pit with fellow employees and get done for harassment just 'cause they got "a little burnt"...whiney fuckers!
I get used to see Robb with long hair and after really long time i watched this video and i was like 'It is so unusual to see Robb without long hair, totally different person.'.
I always thought the cover art was poxy so I never bothered to listen to it. Finally listening to it after what feels like a lifetime...and I'm really feeling it. It's a nice mix of the old skool thrash and groove metal. Before many believe they turned nu metal. I'll always have love for this band. Just goes to show you...you can't judge a book by its cover. Forever MH.
The best Machine Head's album... i miss this sound
The first 3 albuns were amazing (yes, the nu metal one too)
This is basically nu metal too
@@2000Doriyas Not at all, what is nu metal about it? There is no rapping, there are guitar solos
@@2000Doriyas It's groove metal
@@Robert-rl7rd It's the riffing style dude. I think the only think holding this album back from being full Nu-Metal is the drums and only a few riff parts when they go full dimebag on it especially the solos.
saw these guys in concert back in 1997 with Pantera, Coal Chamber and White Zombie! Kick ass show I'll never forget.
Awsome tune! Really helped me get through some very bad times as a teenager when I needed to get my aggressions out due to bullying and all kinds of bad stuff that people delighted in inflicting on me.
I'm a stronger man now and I'm glad Machine Head's music was there for me
Damn blast from the past. I miss 90s metal 😔

The only dude that can wear yellow and kick ass at the same time.
My early 20s this is still bad ass album I'm wondering if this is underneath one of the Oakland Bridges
Man, i'v been waiting for eternity for someone to upload this video on youtube. Cheers.
Dripping in that 90’s tinge. A punch to the face is an understatement.

Dave Mclain is a beast
Україна слухає!!😉
never knew they made a video for this song
@scottropa Metal will not be reborn. Metal is still here and has been for the past few years and I honestly don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.
i dont know why but these videos from the old days of Machine Head remind me alot of Sepultura and Soulfly for some reason
The best MH era. THE BEST MH SQUAD !!!!!!!!
Demmel, Mader,, Duce. Best lineup
Filmed at the Vic Theater in Chicago! October 97!
Nope, Philadelphia at the troc, that's the Ben Franklin bridge
The Best Power Metal band!! 4 me of course, pantera were great but machine is top shit!!!!
and im a hiphop head...
saw them live back in 2000,great show!!!!
One of the contributors of what would become nu-metal.

@vukmarkov this is actually thrash metal, one of the many different froms of metal
0:58 PANTERA ... love that sound!

I first heard this song on the Faust movie.
Gotta open up your brain!!!
it's so f**g good
Muito a frente...

negatory-I LOVE MACHINE HED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dave McClain: The meanest drum-destroying mango in the fucking universe.
very graet song with davidian, imperium and ten ton hammer...
I seriously think this intro needs to be used as a fire alarm, every morning in work we have a drill...why not make it fun? Then again if it went off I'd probably start a pit with fellow employees and get done for harassment just 'cause they got "a little burnt"...whiney fuckers!
@pivetlord13
This is actually from their 2nd album (imo their best) "the more things change". Before they made rap metal.
@MAGGOTSOlDIER626 Es Robb Flynn el que se parece a Phil Anselmo. Logan Mader lleva rastas. Se estava preparando para entrar en Soulfly.
@pedrosilvaleitao I think that whole band is a bit underrated, i don't know how is that possible but they are unfortunately...
I've been following Machine FUCKIN Head since Burn My Eyes and I can't believe this is olny the second time I seen this video!! FUCK YEAH!!!!!
FUUUUUUUUCKK I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
I get used to see Robb with long hair and after really long time i watched this video and i was like 'It is so unusual to see Robb without long hair, totally different person.'.
Fk yeh. This is the shiz
