Thank you for this comprehensive video introduction to operating a Mini Excavator as a new trainee Operator. Your calm, logical narration and unhurried presentation serves as a great tutorial for the inexperienced Operator. By watching this video in conjunction with studying the Operator Manual for their specific machine, trainee's can prepare themselves well, prior to setting foot in their new machine. These machines are not toys, and their powered tracks, boom and bucket can cause injuries and damage if mishandled, likewise, the machines must be operated within their limits or unintended consequences like rollover could occur. Whether for a weekend DIY Operator on a hired machine working at home or for a new trainee Operator looking to work in the industry, this video is well worth watching.
After watching a bunch of your videos I decided to download the game “Construction Stimulator 3” for PlayStation so I could get my heavy plant equipment fix. And watching your videos has actually helped me run the equipment better in the game!
Great clear instructions, thanks. I work at a motorcross park with terrain that is all over the place, and i often find myself in hairy situations. Would be nice to have a video on handling different slopes and contours. I'm still relatively inexperienced on the excavator as my offsider mostly operated it, especially when it came to the trickier stuff, but he has recently quit. Now I have no choice but to do it all myself.
Dig over the blade, and dump the load directly 180 degrees of you. When swinging, if you don’t dump behind you, hold the arm and bucket close to the boom. Pretty common sense stuff. Nice video.
don't think I have any direct figures for that. I would probably recommend you reach out to a local dealer. Generally we budget about $5-$10/hr for fuel and maintenance for our mini, but can't say I have a solid figure for that.

Do you have a segment on how to judge the depth you have dug when doing a trench? If not, could you do one? Thanks

Hey sir I'm brian from kenya and i truly wish to know how to operate those heavy machine how do much is it going to cost me
could you tell me in a nut shell... what is the direct operating cost and direct maintenance cost for the mini excavator

Seems like the newer machines are smoother in motion than the old machines or is it just the operator?
Oh absolutely the newer machines will be smoother.
How would I dig a chain wall foundation straight?
That one would be out of my expertise....hopefully there is someone else that can comment with a good answer.
"there is no leaks, any obvious damage..." come look at my 1992 JCB 4CX, you will run with scream :D
Yikes
Non digging turns using boom....
😮😮😮😮
