How to Chest Bind with Underworks Binders

- The title seems lazy, but I just woke up (Mal) and I'm sluggish. I don' know how many of you follow my instagram @malachias.morgan but i ended up getting a lot of hate from a new account I created recently that was private. It talked about HRT transitioning stuff and also recovery from ED. I deleted the account last night after it was not letting me post anything and the account was acting very glitchy because people reported my account and photos. It made me angry because that accounts purpose was to help people who are FTM or transitioning, but I know there are a bunch of people out there who don't agree and frankly detest me.
As you guys might be aware, not many people know I am on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and I know they think I'm 'ruining' my life' etc. but I feel so healthy right now and I have never felt this happy with myself. Plus Leah's support is so refreshing and I can't tell you how much I love her for helping me and always giving me advice and encouraging me to never give up.
Lastly, I want to thank ALL of you for your love and support. I received so many sweet comments last night and today that really brightened my day. It makes me so dang happy to know that so many of you are supportive and care, thank you angels!

Thank you for sharing with us! Your voice is getting even deeper. I'm happy you're discovering yourself. I agree, this type of thing takes time. I've been out to my family for 2 1/2 years now and I still haven't started T or anything yet (even though I'm fairly confident in my desire for it). Gonna leave a few of my own personal tips here, if you don't mind.
Binders in the same price range as Underworks is GC2B. I've used both and Underworks was always too hard to get into (because I have a bigger chest), and I wound up tearing my Underworks one after less than a year. So some people might not like that, and I would recommend trying a GC2B one. But because of the different material, I kind of don't like the full shirt ones either, I currently have a full shirt and a crop one from GC2B. The main difference in the two would be that in GC2B binders, the front panel doesn't stretch, so it stays flatter than the back.
Also a great resource to check out would be Chase Ross on YT, he does a lot of informational videos and reviews products like packers and other things for trans men. (Just be aware some of the things he reviews are adult toys so just tread with caution if you don't like that stuff.) But particularly his Trans 101 series is really helpful.
Also, if you're looking to bind with tape, like open shirt binding, KT tape has been sort of popular for that in the last year or two. It sticks super well, though, and the tape itself is intended to last for a couple days (for joint or muscle pain or injury) and it can be difficult to remove prematurely. (and be sure to cover your nips if you try to use it because good god does that hurt). But this can get expensive if you're using it every day, so just be aware. (I've tried generic brands and they don't do squat.)
I use a combination of tape and binding, because my chest is so big that I get uni-boob when I wear a binder alone. So I use a couple strips of tape on each side to separate them before I bind. Otherwise, to tape, I'd have to use way too much of it to get flat. So I use the tape to separate and the binder to flatten.

Sophie Pickett 1. Use one sports bra on right then the other one inside out.
2. use a tank top and flip up the bottom to the top, creating more of a covering sort of thick layer thing.
3. Layer clothing, this helps a ton!
4. Never try an make a makeshift binder because as much as you think “oh yea i can do this, nothing bad will happen!” It’s not the case so just make sure no tape, bandages, tights, anything.
5. There is free binder websites you can sign up for
6. GC2B gives shipment without saying it’s a binder and it’s from some random person, it’s discreet for a reason if needed.
7. Sports bra, tank top flipped twice onto chest, shirt.
None of this causes any discomfort ever, make sure to never go a size down with anything also because that doesn’t help if anything it makes it less effective. 👍👍

LOL you should have seen me the first time I ever tried on a binder. I didn't know what the heck I was doing and I thought it was too small, but it actually wasn't. They're always tight at first, but the more you wear them, the easier it gets to put them on =D

Thank you for the informative video -- I used a cropped side-hook binder for cosplay (my hips are waaay too wide and my butt is too big to wiggle a binder up that way!) but I had to kinda figure it all out by myself, so I wish I'd watched your video first and not felt so awkward about it

Ah I wish I had a binder. The only thing I use to bind my chest is a tank top and that’s about it but it really doesn’t flatten my chest that well which makes me a bit disappointed. I mean I really don’t wanna ask my parents because I don’t want them to be a bit suspicious or find out that I’m trans. Also this is a good video and you look great!

This kinda led me to believe that its a bit too big because it just looked like a sports bra on me

I bought my first binder but it was too small because I did not come in. Then I bought a new one in one size bigger but it seems like it's too big because it does bot bind really well.
I got a reduction surgery but they came back. Got a binder this week but read that they can make your tissue up top break down and become saggy. Is that true?

What if my chest isn't done devoping, will it damage my chest too much, like if I get top surgery will it damage it too much and stop developi mg? (its still large and I feel so much dysphoria towards it)

Malachi I'd like to ask a question. So I am a biological girl but a closeted guy and my problem is is that I don't mind having boobs and I don't experience that much dysphoria other than the discomfort of being known and commonly viewed as a girl, does that mean I'm fake or something?

I try to bind my chest but my breast is like a D so it's very difficult for me to bind you can always see my boobs i find it so fustrating 😭😣
