[UPDATE] Solid Door with Rim Locks. [PLUS] Emergency/Second Exit demonstration.

Hey everyone. Here I am once again doing another video on my own bedroom door. I have add the old style rim lock to the door with a working skeleton key and skeleton-like keyhole on the exterior of the door. I actually bought the vintage lock around 3 years ago and never put it on anything. Since The Ultimate lock replaced the original door lever which is now used as an emergency exit device on my second exit from my room. So now I can now install the vintage rim lock set for a good reason and not just another rim deadbolt.

I recently remediate the massive amount of play between the door keep ad latch and skeleton key surface mount door lock. I recently made a dado in my jamb to make the keep more closer to the latch edge when in the closed position. That’s all I had to do. Now it’s much better.
