I LOVE this foundation on me! Crazy how different people react to different stuff. This one is almost perfect. Its straight medium on me, dewy and lasts forever! And I live in HUMID Texas lol
It just sat on my skin, it turned about 3 shades darker! It looks good On 20 year olds in the ad, I am 50, maybe it works better on younger skin, I don’t know, but I know I didn’t want to keep it😂

Thank you for your honest review! I purchased this foundation after seeing a bunch of youtube reviews raving about this foundation. Many of them were gifted this so I think that influenced their review. I have dry eczema skin and I had the same results as you.

I almost bought this stuff (and have also been curious about il Makiage and others ) but I love your earnest reviews and that you update throughout the day to see how it wears over time. Welcome, Tara! I just started wearing foundation in my 30s too. I started to see sun spots and texture from sun damage that I just didn't want to see... so I started trying foundations, but it was so hard to find ones that worked for me and the only over-40 people that were reviewing them online were not dry skin types... so that was a huge driver to me starting this channel!

I go the makeup wipe route when I'm too tired for proper evening skin care (which has been way too often lately and I'm getting the dang white bumps to prove it!) ugh

It sorta reminds me of pudding, the kind you cook not instant, that skim or skin it gets on the top as it just begins to set up, that is what the thing on your cheek reminds me of. Strange, I do not think I've seen another foundation do that! Noted and thank you!

I got the primer and foundation. It arrived today and I’m wearing it now. It felt serum like going on and kind of sat on my skin for a while. I think the color I chose was good and eventually it seemed to settle down after a couple hours. It doesn’t feel dry on my dry skin. I didn’t get patchy or lumpy. And we are in the same age group. Maybe the primer is helping me ? Idk. It’s not an instant favorite but it looks decent so I’ll wear it cause I bought it and the RMS bronzers will save the day. ❤
Would love to see a review of an oldie but goodie Ere Perez oat milk foundation. Great for dry skin.

Oh I wish in Australia we could return products we didn't like. I had heard good things about this foundation thanks Shell for the review. Won't be going near it
I hate patchy foundations. There's almost nothing you can do to fix it. If I don't have time to wash it off and start over, I end up spraying 2 coats of dewy setting spray over it. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not. 😛 I can't imagine how this foundation would look if you DID sleep in it. 😕

I do want to thank you for the video for the About Face foundation. I got the color right on the 1st try and I really like the foundation.
I'm sorry that the Youth Foria didn't do anything for you. It was so dry looking. With all of the skincare in it, it should have performed better.

I think their big splash into the market was the color changing blush oil that went viral on socials a couple years ago. I haven't seen anything else reach peak popularity since then.

I was just in Ulta 30 minutes ago looking at that! GMTA! Picked up the Ulta moisturizing stick foundation and so far very impressed. Have you tried that one yet? I didn’t see it in your list, but also could have missed because I’m old! 😅

Hehehe I've had a very small handful of reviews that I've ended right there at application. I try to give them a shot if it's feasible but some are just so bad!! But really, I've never kept going with one that ended up improving. Sometimes I keep going just to see how bad the train wreck is going to get 🤣

MIDSUMMER! Gorgeous eye look-- Do I detect a drop of Dew? Love that color. Maybe the formula of this foundation doesn't play well with your sunscreen or your bakuchiol cream? I've had rare issues with Good Molecule sunscreen affecting cosmetics. That foundation is liiiiiight! Even next to the 1C1 Cool Bone it's like 👻 I am right there with you--I can't get away with too light anymore; it makes me look like I'm gonna pass out. Also, let's just note that this looks considerably worse than the two dollar foundation from AOA!
Did you see, No7 is 40% of at Ultra for a couple of weeks, please remind me what you recommend.
I am soooo far behind on comments but for next time - really I don't think you can go wrong with anything from No 7. I've used a ton of their products over the years. Right now my must have (just bought my 5th bottle since last June) is the Future Renew Serum.
My mom sleeps in her makeup because that IT Cosmetics lady said that their makeup was good enough to sleep in. 🙄 Oh, Mom.

Was curious about this foundation but will definitely pass! Not worth the risk at that price and then the inconvenience of having to return it. You look beautiful, Shelly! That crap foundation didn't break your stride, you still look just as amazing as always. Thanks for checking this one out so we didn't have too!!🥹

Exact same experience I had with this foundation! Terrible! I had high hopes
i had the same results! if you dont mind me asking how did you prep your skin and what skin type do u have ? i used the ordinary buffet serum, then cerave moisturizing cream, canmake uv gel, and the last thing i used before foundation was the youthforia primer. my skin type is usually normal to dry but recently its been dehydrated. im wondering if the dehydration is whats actually causing the patchiness.
I was turned off when I saw a video of someone who ordered the darkest shade, and the color was several shades lighter than the label. She ordered 3 and that was true of all of them. The shade expansion looks much better, but geez. This was…not the best on you, thank you for your sacrifice!
