    @Ohio Power Tool. Thanks Harley for the quick run down on the Mechanix Wear line of gloves. Now I know where to go for anything Mechanix Wear. Yes, please cover the line of Mechanix Wear welder's gloves in a future video.
    It's great that you can save letters by using the mirror image of OPT - TPO. Easier to remember too.
    Hope you, the staff at OPT/TPO, and your families stay safe and well.

    I'm more than happy with my M-Pact's, work good with touch devices, and you dont lose too much sensitivity on the trigger (if youre using any type of gun of course), a disadvantage is at the time to make some small movements, like using a siringine (I'm a med) maybe canalize, or doing "micro movemens" with your fingers, you feel like they're a bit bulky, just practice with them and you'll be fine, nice video man, keep going!

    Is any of these good for motorcycling ? Talking about abrasion resistance to protect my hand when i go down...

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  2 года назад

      The M-Pact Resistant gloves (MPT-58-GR) would be great for that! They have extra padding on the knuckles to protect your hands if you fall, ride past tree branches, etc. The palm padding also helps reduce vibration which would ease some impact on your hands during the ride!

      The Mechanix Durahide Original Leather Gloves LMG-75 would be a great option for roofing and carpentry because they offer abrasion and cut resistance! They're super durable, breathable, and machine washable to protect your hands when working with sharper materials.

    What model would be the best for electrcians ??

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  Год назад +1

      The most important thing you want to look for in a glove for electrical work would be arc flash protection; Mechanix Wear have got a pair called the M-Pact gloves that might be good, although your thumb, first, and middle finger are not protected to better assist with mobility in smaller spaces. Klein Tools actually have a pretty good pair of electrician's gloves that you may want to look into; they're a little clunkier than Mechanix's would be, but the added protection is definitely worth the trade off.

    Which one is best for bushcraft where you do a lot of work around campfires?

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  Год назад +1

      It depends which level of protection you are looking for, the Mechanix Wear M-Pact Gloves provide impact protection and have reinforced palm and finger areas, making them suitable for campfire-related tasks. Then, the Mechanix Wear Original Gloves provide good protection against heat and abrasions and are lightweight! Finally, if you specially want gloves with enhanced heat resistance the Mechanix Wear Heat Resistant Kevlar Gloves are best for you. They provide an extra layer of protection against heat and flames. I know the Heat Resistant Gloves weren't featured in the video but I figure I would mention them as well!

    Best gloves for spray painting?

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  2 месяца назад

      With spray painting the best gloves would be Nitrile, Latex, or Vinyl gloves as you can dispose of them after use. They paint does not come off easily from fabric so reusable gloves may not be the best option.

      Style could be, but more likely is that they're less expensive than custom gloves and super easy to replace in whatever city the show is in if something happens before cameras start rolling; rather than having to wait for someone to make them a new pair of gloves, they can head to a big box orange or blue store and pick up a new pair for a fraction of the cost of paying the WWE to pay someone to make new ones!
