    Thank you so much for the video, It's simple and straight to the point. My question is can you show what the point data looks like or describe what it is (i.e the information it contains and if the file is in excl).

    • @TerraSpatial
      @TerraSpatial  3 года назад +2

      Hi Zahra Ab, Thanks for you valuable comment and feedback. Point data is reprenstation of location, the point data consist of information which can be manual entered through attribute table. Many times it will be excel file which contains latitude, longitude and information about location. Example: Rainfall or temperature or groundwater quality or sample information and etc. Thanks for your wonderful question.

    Thank you for the video. I am trying to do it just for a state in India. However, the map is taking a rectangular shape and not the boundary of the state. I tried every option with environment setting and raster analysis...it doesn't work. Can you please specify where am I going wrong.

    How do you deal when the interpolation gives different values where you have data point? My interpolated map is not respecting the available data point values.

    • @TerraSpatial
      @TerraSpatial  4 года назад

      Hi Mr.
      Raghwendra Narayan Shandilya
      , The interpolation tool works based on the points input, the values will be above or closer to values of the point data. It just estimates the unknown with the known values.

    • @zainabkhan2475
      @zainabkhan2475 2 года назад

      Interpolation is no matter what equation you're using is always a prediction with possibilities of errors... unfortunately in a arcgis there's no such option to check the significance of your model... but still you can try different methods depending upon your data...
