11:25 check the model number. SpectrAlert Classics come in a beige version too, not just red and white. So it might be a beige and not just faded white. I don't see too many of those, so yours might actually be less common than you thought. I can't totally tell from the video, it could just be faded or not. I think the model number for beige ends in B.

@@GabetheSlackerIt's for security reasons, so people that pull them, can't un-pull a station so FD knows which one is activated, and just to make it so you can't unactivate the device (Even though once it's pulled, resetting it won't unalarm the system, but still). They are like extra detailed light switches with locks in a way lol
And also don’t be afraid to compromise if you want them. Give some get some, if you can fund them yourself without actually spending money and keep the hobby neat they will be more likely to let you have them. There are many ways to get units without paying a ton, such as asking fire alarm companies for old units or checking for disposed units after an upgrade
