Great video!! Thanks a lot :) I also plan on shooting a ski expedition this winter. Let me ask you, how do you properly expose the snow so you don't run into problems in post? I imagine you shoot in LOG with a LUT in the monitor?
I've shot in LOG and used a LUT in the monitor in the past but my current workflow is actually to shoot with Picture Profile turned off. I know I'm sacrificing dynamic range but I just find the workflow to be faster and adequate for my needs right now. Zebras can be helpful to not loose contrast in the snow. It's tricky to expose properly on a super sunny day but I use spot metering on faces to dial it in. Hope that helps!
