- How Captain America: Civil War RUINED Iron man. This is not the most well structured video but its good. Tony the villian psychopath that got stopped by a guy with more strength and speed than normal. Nice.
Good movie did piss me off but this is the actual problem with it.

The fact that in the first movie Tony's like 2nd suit takes a DIRECT hit from a literal tank and LITERALLY the only visible "damage" is soot, but Steve and Bucky trash him is mind boggling.
Civil War hurt ALL of them in my eyes. A three hour will do that.

0:46 Cap was already a criminal at this point. Not telling the others about the other super soldiers doesn't have anything to do with him being on the run, that's just about protecting Bucky, hos friend. Idk if he knew they were sleeping in tubes and not an immediate threat, and maybe he thought that he could go and take care of them himself, being in Antarctica and far away from anyone hunting him. Still agreed it's probably dumb not to tell anyone else about the supersoldiers.
1:08 under normal circumstances Tony jas alot of trust for Cap, but not regarding his friend, who he believes is evil and Cap is wrong to trust just for being hos friend back in the day. Also their differences on the Accords can't so easily be talked out. Both sides know the other is unlikely to budge. And when they fight, it's only to incapacitate the others, not hurt. That's why Falcon or Vision or whoever nearly killing Rhodey is such a betrayal for Tony, since that was such an escalation on the battle.
1:24 Iron Man is hardly on the level of Thor, he was able to go toe to toe for a moment since Thor inadvertently powered him up to 300 percent. Anyways Falcon definitely wouldn't win since Stark tech is obviously going to beat advanced military tech, but again Tony doesn't want to kill Falcon.

1:47 I believe Tony's anger eventually wore off, to the degree that he wouldn't be willing to kill Cap again, especially considering how Cap spared him and then even tried to apologize afterwards, but usually, when someone gets angry enough to get into a fight, they usually don't calm down until they either win or their anger is outweighed by fear or pain. You can even see this in debates, arguments, where maybe half way through you realize you may not be right, but you continue to try to justify yourself, find gotchas to win. I've had arguments where only after stopping was I able to come back and admit I was wrong.
2:19 Iron Man isn't supposed to "redeem himself." He's the antagonist of this movie, it's not until Infinity War or even Endgame that he's able to atone for the damage he's done.
2:27 Cap understands why Tony did what he did, and he still respects him, so he apologizes for not telling him about Howard Stark's death for the blame it puts on Bucky. He apologizes for the Avengers being split up, and for Rhodey being nearly killed. He doesn't want Tony to hate him ultimately.
That was just a bunch of headcannon. And I actually like your point about you dragging out arguements when you're wrong by nature. Thats called pride. And thats a fault in character.
Civil war to me is one of the most forced and contrived plots in movies. Clearly made to sell tickets. To you it could be different. No need to argue about my own opinion
@@RSG200 i have similar opinion about not telling anyone about the super soldiers but is just so clear that at that point in the movie cap helped a guy that was showed to be a terrorist

Ironman tossaround thor man theres no way he could get beat cuz he get hit by mijolnir and continues to fight
