    I selfishly hope most players miss this show because I bet against them. This is great advice on the best racing channel…period. Thank you both for sharing your time and knowledge.

    I've been looking forward to the "bounce" show and it was well worth the wait. I learned a lot and am embarrassed to say I never realized the correlation between equine athletes and human athletes regressing off certain top efforts. This puts my training regime in a different perspective.

    Great video! I use to be a competitive runner and I remember peaking for a marathon where I ran 2:29:00, 5:25 a mile pace, the best race of my life.....But I gave it everything I had. Two weeks later I couldn't even run a 5K in 17:00 minutes, 6:00 minute pace per mile. I bounced big time and I can certainly understand how that can happen to a race horse.

    This is really great. The first TG Seminar I ever went to,a big part of the discussion was about the patterns showing you when a horse is protecting himself. I haven't heard anyone use that term in ages.

    About ten or so years ago Todd Pletcher was on with Mike Francessa. He told him the ideal space for him was 6 weeks between races. I don't what he thinks now but I never forgot that.

    And do you use any of Carey Fotias’ theories regarding new pace tops/final figs? New pace tops that are high effect the final fig…. Similar to Timeform figs using pace for final fig…luv your videos.

      Beat the game, that's funny. All of these tools whether it be Thorograph, Ragazon, Beyer, Timeformus or Equibase, just give you a fighting chance. You will win and you will lose, but you will never beat the game.

      @PastTheWireTV IDK if it’s a coincidence, but your handicapping fundamentals webinar came up on my feed . I watched it and the Chad Brown interview. Both are very informative. After 3/1 I will become a member of your PTW tracker (sorry I don’t remember exact name rn.) That said, it would be really great to see any other handicapping webinars you may have done. Thanks again for the great information

    • @PastTheWireTV
      @PastTheWireTV  Год назад

      Basically they are just raw times, no trip or ground loss allowances factored so not nearly as telling or accurate.
