AI still has F-16 like roll rate, like in the original CLOD in 2011. Your Hurricane can barely keep up rolling with the 110 which is just ridiculous :)
@joey-kwok I member, that was a long time ago, shame because I think VR might be the last chance to really make the game mainstream again. But aces of war is about to be released and I think that will be the VR gamers go to game
@@KyleCowden I'm afraid there'll be no backwards compatibility, everything would have to be rebuild from scratch and I don't see them doing that any time soon, if at all.
Would have loved to play this flight sim but like many others I could never get my joystick to be recognized even after using the included joystick configuration program file that came with the Blitz version.
True story told to me by my late FiL, As a boy he was standing outside the local cinema on the main street of our small town in Northumberland UK. He heard aero engines and saw a HE111 flying down the main street at rooftop height, he remembers seeing the men in the front "Glasshouse", He said the front gunner over his gun and said if he had been really nasty he could have opened up and killed hundreds as it was Saturday and the street was full of people! Luckily he didn't! At the end of the street heading out of town he lifted, this is when FiL saw two fighters following him, They held their fire til he was out of town and heading for the North sea only a couple of miles away. He heard their machine guns chatter and later found out the German went down into the local bay.So yes they would hold their fire until sure of the Enemies intentions!!
in Clod you can set your own guns convergance, so he may have had a difference range set up, plus the spitfire had a manual setter for the range on the sight, the 2 horizontal yellow lines should touch the wingtips no that sight unlike the americans who filled the circle.

It makes me laugh. An aircraft the size of the bf110 rolling like an aerobatic plane. Cliffs of Dover is a decent flight sim but it has some quirks!
A couple of the Tobruk planes have insane roll as well, to the point the ai doesnt know how to handle it and just rolls forever to avoid your nose
great to see this game still alive
they promised to bring in VR, but no progress yet

I wish that IL2 had a ground exit gauge that would allow the player's avatar to exit the plane and run away.
They are implementing that in IL:Korea
@@daily_blasting4850 WooHoo!
I wonder if it will be backwards compatible so it can be done in WWII scenarios.

IL1946 also got it(Mod), u can enter and Drive vehicles even in multiplayer, walk around etc
Cool vid! I like playing this game from time to time

this brings me back
when is il2 blits going to be vr for the public and not just a few people?
Es lo que pasa si se está demasiado tiempo detrás de un Bf-110; descubres que tiene aguijón.
Bravo on the landing.
Ah, the old lady still looking good! In some ways better than BoX. Maybe I should return. My active time in CloD was a few years ago.
In real life, like at 4:34, did allied pilots avoid shooting to prevent damage and casualties on the ground?

@@notwocdivad Thank you for your story.
Странный пилот на Хуре. Почему не работаете закрылками и не управляете оборотами двигателя????
this game looks so fucking good compared to BoS
Wow you are really slow reacting to the 110 maneuvering.
ouais pas terrible , un 110 amoché , un hurricane moteur explosé et un choix de cible pas très judicieux , peu mieux faire.
never check six!!!
against IA? Non one o nine?
Still my fave flightsim game
If you were on realistic gunnery you wouldnt bother opening fire til the target fills the circle

Thanks for posting but this is just rookie-ass shit. You would have been killed on your first mission
Well, he almost was. But then again he was up against the fastest turning Bf-110 in WW2
