Plus, the contacts between the gps and dashcam are kinda loose. You might loose the gps function if you drive on uneven road or bump into a pothole. The firmware is buggy that it really needs a lot of polish.

What are those 5 gold pins where it attaches to the window sticker mount...maybe it has a mount with power and gps, so that u dont need to mount it and unmount it every time u get out of the car + stick the microusb cable in !!! For left hand cars u need to put it in the center of the windscreen, which means u can not see very good the car dash screen, if u put it so that u can see the screen (in front of your eyes) u dont see the right part of the road and maybe the cars A pillar will obstruct some of the view. I DONT KNOW if it is very good !!!
Those clear sticky pads go on your windscreen first and then you stick the dash cam adhesive part directly on the clear pads. It is very secure and stays in place. But when you peel it off it does not leave any sticky substance on the windscreen, so that's what those clear pads are for.
I got what looks like a Chinese version of this same product. However all the on screen displays and verbal language from the item is only in Mandarin Chinese. How did you change yours to English text on the LCD screen? Thank you

The fact that it is difficult to take it out of the GPS mount before leaving my car makes it unusable for me. How can you design this camera to be left on the windshield all the time? What if you park on the street? They've broken into my car to steal a TomTom before, a backpack...even for a jacket. Now I can't mount this because I can't unmount it. Ridiculous.

Needs to be hardwired, the internal battery is designed to work for only a short period, eg loss of power or collision.

Lack of codecs. Download VLC or Kodi on your pc and it will play.

No it is very low powered. You can leave it on in your car for a whole week without driving your car. Then your battery would be low.
