- During my world tour stop in Scandinavia and inspired by troubles in my relationship at the time, I took to the famous beaches of Esbjerg, Denmark to film a video for my cover of Guns 'n' Roses 'November Rain' - coincidentally, in the rain, in November! One of my fave songs of all time.

5:17 I honestly think this version blows Axel Roses away!!! Yes. I was homeless in November a couple years back. I had gotten a blisters walking in freezing rain.. we went to Goodwill and asked if they had any spare mittens or hats. Ours were soaked and we were miserable. Didn't have anywhere to go. Well I got blisters on top of my blisters. I have Lupus so I can't do infections well. My foot was infected and both of my knees needed to be replaced. I have never ever been so hopeless. Ugh.. well this song is perfect for that time. And Jesus showed me the world. I am almost whole again. Amen❤
Oh and Goodwill told us no but let us warm up for a minute. Now seriously??? Even if I couldn't give stuff to people who were so obviously in need, I would have bought the stuff myself. My goodness they get all the stuff donated and they couldn't give us a beanie. I'm sorry but Goodwill is on my crap list. Much LOVE and PEACE ✌️❤

You're completely off your rocker. This rendition is absolutely beautiful in its own way. But, definitely not "way better."
You don't understand this song... Or music in general....if you think this is "way better."
The original goes through all the traditional stages of grief, which includes anger. Axl Rose's raspy grungy voice is emotionally raw, and perfectly imperfect.
There's a reason she chose this song to cover. It inspired her. People don't cover other musicians' music if they don't pull inspiration from it. So don't knock GnR. They're the ones who wrote the lyrics and the tune.
Amazing sandi I lost my husband true love and soulmate 4 months ago we met when we where kids married 39 yrs have three amazing kids and three gran kids am heart broken but my beautiful family keep me going I see brian in all of them am blessed ur song is brilliant ur voice is awesome. A fantastic song for sure. This song reminds me of a love I once had some 30 years ago now. I'm ready to retire now, married....but this song reminds me of her and it sends chills down my spine. I still sometimes wonder what could have been, if it wasn't for my stupid child-like notions back in my 20's. Now at age 58...I still feel that I have to go back to face my mistakes and try to make things right.

It's nice regarding the simplicity, and clarity of it. You might be interested in another cover of this song done recently by a band I had never heard of who call themselves First To Eleven. The lead singer girl looks like she's about nineteen. Absolutely fabulous version. If you're interested find their RUclips channel, and listen to it. They uploaded it on July 22, 2021. I love covers like that. Still easily recognizable, but different enough that it shows that the cover's author had a clear novel idea, took time, and put a lot of work. And this "November Rain" is exactly like that. It's awesome.

I love hearing original GNR songs in these cover formats, because it just proves time and time again how incredible Axl and the gang are at writing phenomenal music and compositions.
GNR didnt make it awesome .... We did. The ones that spread the word & talked anything about it, and called mtv & requested it. Otherwise its just a regular ole song, nothin special. ..... BUT Time has made it special, because it takes us back to a simpler point in time. Weve heard this song SO very many times that we learned to like it & learned to appreciate it, But upon very first hearing it the very first time, it wasnt special or incredible at that time, but now it is. -if that makes sense.
yes he was a genius songwriter, all their songs are top hits not just 1 per album, unlike nowadays most "stars" do... and yes, those were simple times, but songs were a lot more complex, now we live much more complicated times, but today's pop hits are so much more simple....
