    Who else is here because they have a deep appreciation for this iconic SUV?

    We road trails like that on 36" to 44" Super Swamper tires on our rigs back in the day. Impressive what those Jeeps can do.

      They really do work on the trails great!

    I'd swear those trails are right here in New Hampshire and Maine. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of my friends and me from the Eighties and Nineties.

      That's awesome it's always pretty wild to see what the terrain is even just a few hours away from "flat" Kansas.

    Hey Tyler, other than the unfortunate bodywork it looks like it was a good time!! Thanks for taking me along on your latest adventure!!! 👍👍🙂

    Hey Bud, good time, great footage !! My '01 Grand has 3" coil lift, Core 4×4 adjustable control arms, Core spacer block in rear A-arm "boomerang". "17 inch Wrangler JK wheels w/Copper AT3 all around. I can't wait to test my baby. Most don't know the capability of '99-04' live axle WJ's. Thank's.

      Thanks! We really like the OEM+ looks without too much aftermarket stuff bolt onto them, and you will be relived that the 04 Overland has 2 sets of those wheels, one perfect set with street tires on them and then this 2nd set (also still very nice) for off-road. Thanks for the view!

      Thanks! We are all pretty careful with our old Jeep's to be honest this is probably the worst damage we have taken off-road. Thanks for the view!

      We had a blast out there! Other than the Jeeps getting a little banged up, but that is one of things you have to deal with when off-road. Thanks for the view!

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Год назад +2

      Yeah I don't care about the rockers since rock rails are eventually getting welded in place but the quarter panel will have to be fixed lol

    Wait wait wait....aren't all offroad videos suppose to have overly loud/compressed music playing over everything and a bunch of banter that has nothing to do with anything??
    BTW....GREAT video! :)

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Год назад +2

      You are totally correct, I honestly really debated on putting music over all of this but then quickly remembered how much I hate watching videos that have a bunch of loud music blasting during anything I am trying to listen to. Thanks for the view!

    Do Any of you have those CV front drive shaft Thangs ??? I just got 4 WJ's 2 99 4x4's a 2000 2wheeldrive an a 2001 2wheeldrive with a 4" lift an 285/70/17's... I'm gonna gut one of the 99's an make the 2001 4wheeldrive.. i don't know anythang about them CV driveshaft joints !!

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  7 месяцев назад +1

      Mine came stock with the CV style driveshaft. I since swapped to a u-joint style driveshaft from a later WJ.

    • @garrettbloomer3930
      @garrettbloomer3930 5 месяцев назад +1

      I’m pretty sure all WJs come with front CVs. Mine is a 2001 with a 4 inch lift and 32” tires. I’ve wheeled it many times and the CVs seem to hold up pretty well. The nice thing with CV shafts is that you can break them and still be able to drive home without fixing it first. Most likely not the case with U-joint style shafts

    I’m working on an Iron Rock 3 inch, short arm, build now. My first off road vehicle. What would you say the difficulty level is on those trails? I don’t think I could tackle something like that as a beginner, but it’s nice to know the WJ can handle some pretty gnarly terrain.

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Год назад

      That's a really good question none of these trails are marked for difficulty but they seemed to be very similar to the trailer we drive at out normal off-road parks. But the WJ's are really capable on the trails! Thanks for the view!

    • @TireSlayer55
      @TireSlayer55 Год назад

      Good choice on the IRO lift, make sure you get a heavy duty track bar as well, even with just a 2.5” spacer lift on my WJ I needed one to fix death wobble. Went with JKS with the Kevin’s Offroad bushing upgrade. IRO track bars are super beefy as well, had one on my XJ and no complaints.

    Cheap Jeep is a catchy name, but a complete lie. One way or another, it’s going to cost you.
    It’s interesting seeing them doing this sort of off-roading. I always underestimate what mine is capable of.

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Год назад +1

      It originally was cheap to buy broken but then I quickly stopped keeping track of the build cost when the number got too back to look at lol Thanks for the view!
