@@DragonKnight90001 He would be familiar with Drifter's existence through his time in Duviri, and could have had a 'hand' in their escape. And it wasn't us who made the decision of who was going to 1999, it was Lotus who was standing right where the Kinepage was.
The way I read Aoi's ending wasn't that we juiced her up, but rather showed her how to use her power properly. It looked like she was adjusting and getting a proper grip instead of just forcing it. I feel that makes more sense as jist like with Quincy and Amir, we were showing them how to use their frames more effectively. Just things their frames were already capable of, but they weren't doing since they relied on their human experience. I suppose you can even make that argument with Eleanor, we helped her get her get her mind back in control, like a good Nyx.
Right on the money. My understanding is that there were a few potential lines for that moment, one of them being "You've got this, think it through". The idea being that she needs to use her powers smart, be efficient. So, she breaks the pistons pulling the pistons back, _then_ re-connects them.
At the start of the quest when Arthur meets Excal and Drifter yeets into his head you can see images pop up that the Drifter is familiar with, I think just transferring into them shares some of the Drifter's knowledge/experience. IIRC it's also mentioned that they had to figure out their abilities on their own and don't know their capabilities to the full extent, I think it was Quincy that mentioned it.
I figured the Hex, being protoframes or "prototype frames" were just weaker versions of the final Warframes. We can already see in the cinematics that "real Volt" is fast enough to make bullets look like they're standing still, whereas the fastest we see Amir is around motorcycle speed. I thought the Drifter basically "surged" the ability with void energy to bring it up to par with "real Mag" considering she struggled with just a small truck.
The way I was thinking is that this transference worked like the usual one where we ease the burden that the powers have on them while also amping them. Eleanor - we silence the other "voices" which left her in full control of her body Quincy- since his Sniper Rifle probably wasn't a *True* Exalted Weapon yet. Either that or we just gave him the ability to see the target for a 100% kill shot while amping his gun 3. Aoi- We seemed to have completely removed the strain that came with her trying to use her powers. When she tries to use it by herself it's like she's trying to push a boulder causing strain, while with our help when she uses it you can see how freely she is able to move her hands and use her powers. There's no resistance. Amir- It seems that his body isn't fully use to his abilities with causes him to breakdown in sense, even saying he can't calculate fast enough like he can't keep up. When you tell him to slow down you can see that the world also seems to slow down as if his body and power has fully become compatible....and then we just straight up give him the parazon which lets him pretty much insta hack. Arthur- His body had reached it's limit.... transference let's us surpass the limits of what the body is usually capable of, while also strengthening it. So we took control to boost him and get him out Lettie- didn't need us since non of her powers effect her on the downside since they heal her aswell
@@thatrandom_canadian its clearly evident they are indeed weaker than the modern day frames let alone even a primes capabilities. Entratis lore kinda confirms this. The hex have their own unique version of the Helmint called the grey strain. Entrati himself said he modified the modern helminth strain to the grey strain to ensure the hex get the warframe abilities but maintaining their humanity.
I think that Albrecht was saying that the Hex would never have accepted or understood the help being offered without spending a little time getting to know the Drifter.
It's not just that. Drifter needed to attune to the protoframes on a much more detailed level than a Warframe, as a frame has for all intents and purposes passed on and given their body to the Tenno while the Hex are going to naturally fight back. Operator and Umbra were united in their cause which is why he lets us in, and Stalker can block us out because he wants none of it. And attuning to the protoframes is important for controlling the Vessels too.
@@Joe90h Agreed! Good observation. That's why we had to coax Arthur too. At the beginning of his dialogue here, as soon as he saw the light of the Transference, he goes, "Wait. No..." and we had to coax him by convincing him that we had to help him get out of the reactor chamber. Only then when he gave us his okay that he could relax, not resist, and we could dive in.
I don't see us leaving 1999 for a while. We still have the infested liches to come. And the fact that we and the hex still don't know exactly what Entrati is planning or where he is right now, it makes me feel like this is the first episode to a season of TV. It feels too soon to leave behind the hex and the calendar/messaging system already.
That's how I see it too. It seems that before pulling those rods things back in she used her powers to break whatever mechanism was pulling them away. So I think it's not that the Drifter gave her more power, it's probably something along the lines of allowing her to use her power with higher precision.
It's more like allowing her to use her power at its full potential. Those cords look really big and heavy, and Aoi couldn't even lift up a small empty truck about half the cord's size. Drifter probably boosted her power AND gave her more finess on how to use her power.
@@justarandomcat3989You can see her motioning as if wrapping a rope around her wrists for a better grip, so it might just be that she was visualizing the magnesia incorrectly for the moment
In general it feels like the Drifter, more experienced with Warframes, reminding everyone of what they can do now - reminding Quincy he can see through tanks, assisting Aoi with using technique over brute force, demonstrating the use of a Parazon to hack to Amir... it's really just Eleanor you "only" give a pep talk to, and Arthur you literally puppet out when he's too injured to do it himself.
@@aliasisudonomo for Eleanor, the interruption breaks the connection to the hive mind. In her chat dialogues over IM, she mentions the tongue has a mind its own sometimes. You'll also notice her eyes are green while connected to the hive, but return to their regular purple after she severs the tongue.
It makes sense. Yes it’s “power of friendship” but with a purpose. Admittedly when we arrived we just sort of brute forced our way into Arthur’s mind for example which was a bad move. A little too invasive and personal for a first encounter. I guess this means Albericht knows somewhat of the power we are capable of at least of the fact we exist outside of normal time constraints? So he created this loop that I guess does sort of halt the indifference to a degree but one we can outright fix? Us connecting with everyone garners the trust needed to essentially save them all. And honestly we did it in the sickest way DE has a way of making me so interested in the minutia of the damn story man.
i gotta say that one of my fav parts is the kinda remixed music on the zariman. it's liek zariman angels, plus this is who you are, and some of the industrial/grunge/metal beat from 1999.
I don't think we juiced them with extra power, we just had a LOT more experience with those powers and from a younger age. We simply showed them how to control them better. But for them to trust us enough to let us help them through transference, we needed to build a bond first.
@@jeremiahjohnson2784 I mean... It's kind of implied that Drifter has a decent number of Tenno memories and training. He knows everything about the Origin System and our Tenno is weirded out by how much he knows.
Once The drifter met the operator during the new war their memories melded together, but remember unlike the Tenno the Drifter due to being isolated is far more of a cold person.
The reason Aoi yaks it is she's fighting a Nuclear SCRAM system's hydraulics. You reassure her and make her take a moment to think so she shatters the hydraulics and then inserts the rods. At least that's how I read it.
Look into the broken thing and take away it's pain. Drifter gave just a bit of guidance to each of them. In my interpretation, Aoi just panicked so hard that's why she at soo mach rads to lose consciousness.
I understand they have a tight schedule with releases and have to cut a lot of corners, but not having small cutscenes for the hangouts after the true ending feels so bad
Tying it in with the KIM system was actually kinda genius, especially since it also presents a lot of really handy down-to-earth recapping of the events up until then. I'm more upset that we don't have the ability to rewatch the rank up cutscenes we have gotten in the past. Not that they were animated to immense detail, like...the Zariman ones were great, for example, but it's just the Holdfasts sitting stoically and speaking. TLDR: I wouldn't call this "so bad."
Yeah, the chemistry system doesn't stop at them all being 'friendly', and is also capped by your standing with the Hex as a whole. Right now I'm at 'trusted' with all of them, about to hit rank 5.
Love how it's the drifters turn to place a finger on the scale. 20:23 lore wise yeah probably his still in there. Something funny is with the hex computer on the orbiter you can be your operator and talk to them so technically the operator can talk to them 😂
This arc has been a blast. I do believe the next arc will be more operator focused, and then we'll come back with more drifter or simply both before evening out again sometime much later. Who knows, maybe we could a 3rd character later on who is a protoframe. Futures wild.
That makes me wonder if Orion/Sirius gets involved at some point, as someone born as a Warframe, and fundamentally unique even in all the madness of the Origin System, and certainly a symbol of love which puts them in conflict with the Indifference
@@UNSCPILOTYo that's so on point. Seems like DE is slowly and methodically laying out the puzzle pieces, which will all fall into place at some point for one hell of an epic culmination of that saga.
I imagine the Operator side will be dealing with the Narmer side of things in the starchart, while Drifter continues to deal with the time jumps travels and loops
Absolutely loved this ending. Just such an incredible cute resolution, the Drifter using the ability of transference in so many wonderful ways. I'm still waiting for the resolution on Albrecht, but I think that's to come in the Coda Liches update. If this really was all according to plan...then what the fuck? Albrecht ruined an entire city and knowingly trapped the Hex in a perpetual timeloop just to teach the Drifter love? Why? There must have been a reason it had to be 1999 and this group at least, right?
In whispers there was some lore regarding 1999 being a pivotal moment where the indifference could not follow. The coda liches will most likely be in the origin system, so maybe we will get some lore on what the quest’s impact was on the current timeline.
fun fact coda is a music term for the ending section of a piece edit come to think of it the technocyte coda are the on-lyne band members so the name is on purpose and likely referencing more story or lore or something
I think people miss what Aoi actually did in this ending. It looks like instead of pulling against the machine meant to tug back at several hundred tons, she pulls the rods downward (away the direction the machines are strongest at) to break them off from the sockets so that there is no resistance when she pulls them back into the reactor.
Great quest but it really REALLY needed an intro and outro. Intro to show us how we got to 1999 alt world and outro for a bit of some hangout (like mass effect 3 citadel appartement, during the party). That said, really like how th drifter shows how to use their powers by syncing with them. Shows trust.
I agree an outro would have been fantastic (or just some more interaction with the hex overall). The intro is in the lotus eaters. That shows the drifter ‘syncing’ into 99. The first part of the hex quest is then him using transferance on arthur until he comes across the newly minted excal. Not the best execution, but it’s there.
Honestly i love the changes we make, despite feeling like a literal self insert with that end screen lmao, now im curious what's gonna happen with Albretch and The man in the wall, and im still a bit confused about Loid's section at the end, im guessing that's us giving him the heads up that we did it
I think we're getting close to the final confrontation with Wally. Im hoping the next update will be operater and Lotus gathering forces. Perhaps we might even try to find a way to talk to whatever is left of Rel's resting spirit (if any is left that is) in order to find out more about Wally
@@usr01 oh he def shot him. it's the why that's questionable, if he didn beleive Amir could make it in time anyway he wouldnt bother, but beleive him shooting Amir might have been a Mercy. dieing instantly to a gunshot wound is probably significantly better than die spending your last moments having a massive heart attack in spitting range of Nuclear Reactor melting down, terrified that you failed at the one thnigeveryone else wascounting on you for.
My hottest take is that I'm not convinced that Wally and Indy are the same. Indy feels fundamentally incurious in a way that Wally... doesn't? Idk how to put it in another way
I dunno. I think the Indifference is on purpose contradictory. It doesn't care about anything yet it dislikes it's fingers being cut and wants to break into real space. In it's pursuit for I guess staleness of some sort where everything is it (that's how I read it anyhow) it paradoxically has wants and desires
It might even be that similiar to the Operator/Drifter there are different versions of.. it. At the end of Whispers in the Walls - disregarding there being two, your Operator and Entrati - Wally/Indifference seemed more.. threatening, while in The Hex it was more curious/neutral. Wally might be interested in the Operator, while the Drifter is "chased" by the more tame Indifference.
There is also the speech wally gave at the end section of the hex quest (not finale). He talked about having pieces cut from him. Some willingly and some unwilling. Need to rewatch it, but it sounded to me like he had different feelings for the deals made and how he interacted with Entrati.
Call me basic or w/e but originally I was going for Eleanor... After playing more and chatting with them I'm kinda leaning towards Aoi. She's grown on me ngl.
I've always loved "This is What You Are." This rearranged bit of it feels soaring and triumphal, it got me sooo good in the moment when I ran the quest.
20:30 I think you are correct, and that was basically foretold in the Lotus Eaters quest right? The Lotus chose the Drifter to go to 1999. Maybe I'm off base about that part, but that's the conclusion I drew as well.
@@analogicparadox yeah the drifter is more resistant to the indifference than the op on account of not being in a warlock pact with the indifference (not exactly what the deal is but i like calling it that)
you can kill the big dudes, (dedecants) by shooting their crit spots on their backs, or the nodes on their chests to instantly destroy their overguard. their attenuation is limited. would've gone quicker if you'd hit the correct spots. :D
I shot him a bit to pop overguard, flicked him (lifted) with the neutral+block combo hit and then shot again to unlift him and then deleted most of his health bar with a ground finisher bleed and then parazon'd him when he popped.
I personally use a 747. (big laser for continuous damage and bouncy discs for fire and forget) Broz was using 147. (sniping laser they often use for one shot head-shots on thrax + bouncy discs) Discs are good for self reviving and just go really crazy in clusters of enemies. You just fire a handful of them into a crowd and dash away and let them do their thing. Just careful to not fire too up close or you stun yourself from the splash like broz did somewhere in the middle of the video.
My guess is is that for whatever reason DE didn't put in the beginning part where we use the vessel to travel into 1999. That's how we get into that giant infested face. As the Vessels can be used to travel into 1999 as they share a connection with the Hex, Loid and the Cavia cooked up an actual process to get there probably with the help of the Kinepage we have been getting messages with from 1999. There are a few weird moments where in this quest they kind of either glossed over or intentionally ommited certain bits of info. Maybe we get some stuff in the Echoes followup (probably next year) that add more context and story. Of course it could be a situation where going into 1999 actually happens through the CODA. The original idea being that we encounter the CODA first and because they are directly tied to 1999 we use them to pinpoint when and where to go in time and space. But because that got delayed and for some major technical reason they couldn't detach that part of the quest from that content so the only options they saw were to delay the whole thing but they clearly didn't go for that, instead just accepting it's going to be weird and giving players at least MOST of what they promised when it was promised. EDIT: Also, a thing of note: I am not sure the Albrecht we interract with after the car crash save is the same one. The one we save is beat to hell, seems like a broken arm too. But next scene, clean and healthy. Space healing is a viable option but then again we have seen the indifference manifest both an Entrati and us at the same time. Could straight be separate entities. More then one of each, even.
I'm pretty sure that's wally, but the entrati speaking at the end definitely is wally you can hear the rippling echo that's associated with the indifference.
i feel like this is a massive setup for making drifter the ultimate conclusion to the main story because of the fact that they didn't agree to wally's deal and they harness the power of "love"
The elemental augments mods NO longer fuse with each other or with weapon mods. So cool, opens up many new builds for weapons and arcanes and stuff aaa
They should have made it more obvious that you gave Aoi void powers to help her hold the machine together, because it made it look like a "you got this" pep talk was all that it took for her to go from brain detonation to wise-cracking while doing the task easily.
i feel like the story in the origin system is complete for now after the new war now we follow the drifter's story since for the most part the operator's story is mostly complete for now
Where is the lotus from all of this, I thought after the lotus eaters she will play a big role in the new quest but she didn't. Man I can't wait more to know what deal did she do with the man in the wall.
Warframe has a LOT of ongoing story threads, often setting stuff up multiple quests in advance, her place in this will show itself, don't worry, we're far from done with 1999 I think, the new "accommodations" makes me pretty certain of that
As someone who suffers from panic attacks when overwhelmed, having someone help you "slow it down" when you think you can't hits so much harder than just speeding Amir up.
Honestly I interpreted it as the drifter wasn't really boosting them, more like a pep talk, kinda like "hey so you should know your Warframe batch can like do this btw... Have fun" felt like this was the case when we helped amir calm down and show him he has a parazon just chilling in his arms. Same with Quincy, that one we definitely activated his 1 but I do like to think they simply didn't know they could do any of that. It's fine, I just thought it'd be cooler
Considering how at the start of The Hex you saw images of the Drifter's memories pop up as he tried to transfer into Arthur I'd bet that when he transferred into Aoi it was a "split second Mag tutorial".

I honestly expected way more ... this was just "oh yeah you save everyone and get past 1999" but the entire "Wally must not posess Entrati!" plot and "We have to find Entrati and get some knowledge!" is completely shafted for the dating sim. I really thought we would get a completely new kind of warframe experience with this story but it was incredibly small scale, contained and above all: Just another "Post Deimos Open World Planet". Zariman, The Labs, now This ... it is all just "A new combat tileset with some alterations to basic mission types and a new syndicate to grind for a week." - The infested liches will probably not change much about that formula either. What I do find interesting though is that we are clearly living in an alternate version of earth ... and names and countries are ... eerily similar to what bullshit happens in Anime ... especially Code Geass with the whole "Army of Britannia" and some locations Amir aludes to. My theory: Entrati is just a huge weeb and went back into the past to turn the 90s of Earth into the anime version of the 90s of Earth and we are there to experience it all. What I want for the next step in warframe what we just saw there: Warframe Operator Synergies. Have our operator "empower" warframes on demand to grant improved signature abilities to our frames passively: Quincy got to use his Wall Hack just through Aiming and that was a REALLY good way to integrate the operator using their powers when INSIDE the frame, not outside.
This is just the opening chapter of 1999, based on our new accommodation tied close to the Holvania mall I think we have a lot more story to expiriance from here. Deffinitly want to know what Entrati has planned with Tau
Having Twitch chat here is absolutely obnoxious and I almost left. Please just turn them off. And the whole Drifter being stuck here thing doesn't work that way.
Eleanor - we silence the other "voices" which left her in full control of her body
Quincy- since his Sniper Rifle probably wasn't a *True* Exalted Weapon yet. Either that or we just gave him the ability to see the target for a 100% kill shot while amping his gun
So we took control to boost him and get him out
Lettie- didn't need us since non of her powers effect her on the downside since they heal her aswell
Rebb did say that there is more to come for 1999, and that it's not just the Infested Liches.
@@emperorpalpatine373probobly flesh out the romance system more with how popular it is.
Originally Aoi was brute forcing it now shes doing it with proper technique
And honestly we did it in the sickest way
DE has a way of making me so interested in the minutia of the damn story man.
i gotta say that one of my fav parts is the kinda remixed music on the zariman. it's liek zariman angels, plus this is who you are, and some of the industrial/grunge/metal beat from 1999.
Yes! Was thinking the same.
The music is just awesome, kicking, sweet.
The peace sign means Warframe 2
No need for a Warframe 2, DE doesn't want to destroy their game and community like Overwatch 2, Destiny 2, and ect
I don't think we juiced them with extra power, we just had a LOT more experience with those powers and from a younger age. We simply showed them how to control them better. But for them to trust us enough to let us help them through transference, we needed to build a bond first.
Drifter isn't a tenno. Didn't even pilot a frame till new war. (Compares it to kaithes in duviri if you pick drifter)
@@jeremiahjohnson2784
I mean...
"What does this mean for America?" Always kills me whenever something crazy happens and Zime doesn't know how to react lol
the parazon to Amir went so hard
I was really hoping for a one time hack mini game that WE do but yes, that was a fantastic moment, for sure.
@@RedShadowOfSaturn that would be even more dope lol
@@halouma2009Like seeing a hack minigame but in Amir’s perspective where it’s so slow he can hack it super fast?
Fun fact, as I learned from my friend, you cannot rank up to rank 4 of the hex syndicate if you havent completed the hex finale.
Oh really? That’s interesting
i don’t think this is true but i also ranked up and did the finale one right after the other. don’t remember the order
so basically it could be true lololol
that's because *spoiler* the rank 4 group chat is the Hex reacting to the finale
It’s true, I tried ranking up to r4 before doing the finale and it wouldn't let me until it was completed
The reason Aoi yaks it is she's fighting a Nuclear SCRAM system's hydraulics.
You reassure her and make her take a moment to think so she shatters the hydraulics and then inserts the rods.
At least that's how I read it.
Bingo, she's essentially trying to wrestle with something by going toe to toe with it rather than simply going for the weak point.
Look into the broken thing and take away it's pain.
Drifter gave just a bit of guidance to each of them.
In my interpretation, Aoi just panicked so hard that's why she at soo mach rads to lose consciousness.
Aoi had an Aneurysm. If you look closely you can see her eyes go extremely bloodshot as she falls.
I understand they have a tight schedule with releases and have to cut a lot of corners, but not having small cutscenes for the hangouts after the true ending feels so bad
There probably will be for rank 5
This was the best moment in warframe since sacrifice for me, so good, very emotional.
The coda liches will most likely be in the origin system, so maybe we will get some lore on what the quest’s impact was on the current timeline.
fun fact coda is a music term for the ending section of a piece
edit come to think of it the technocyte coda are the on-lyne band members so the name is on purpose and likely referencing more story or lore or something
How did you get your drifter to look so good? I tried so hard on mine and she looks like she was a failed DNA experiment on a horse.
Something that seems easy to miss too, If Albrecht didn't shoot Amir he would've died to a heart attack it sounded like.
I don’t think entrati shot him. I think his heart exploded.
Indy feels fundamentally incurious in a way that Wally... doesn't?
Idk how to put it in another way
Considering how Wally first gained sentience, splitting off into different aspects is a totally possible outcome
I'm jonesing for replayability of this quest.
Call me basic or w/e but originally I was going for Eleanor... After playing more and chatting with them I'm kinda leaning towards Aoi. She's grown on me ngl.
Aoi has such a cheerful soul.
I always love people who have cheerful personalities. It's really refreshing.
@vost2916 yeah that's a great point I agree 100%. Also might I add. Her smile in the finale mission... I... Yeah I'm speechless 😂😂
Aww Aoi is just so sweet. I Wish she would be my sister or best friend.
14:23 *Insert cat head bop meme here*
Yes! 😂
I've always loved "This is What You Are." This rearranged bit of it feels soaring and triumphal, it got me sooo good in the moment when I ran the quest.
The quest has been amazing but after seeing your amp im like Nani?! Thats a cool amp shot how it bounces off the enemies
20:30 I think you are correct, and that was basically foretold in the Lotus Eaters quest right? The Lotus chose the Drifter to go to 1999. Maybe I'm off base about that part, but that's the conclusion I drew as well.
The lotus chose the drifter because they're apparently immune to the call of the indifference
@@analogicparadox yeah the drifter is more resistant to the indifference than the op on account of not being in a warlock pact with the indifference (not exactly what the deal is but i like calling it that)
Would be kinda funny if Entrati turned around saw it was the younger operator the lotus sent and goes “well sh*t”
What is the drifter fit he wearing called 0:01 ??
I think 1999 is going to be the prequel build up to how we start off on earth with just a handfull of frames and well how they got there.
Now I'm pumped for the updated Lore video after going through all the KIM messaging lore reveals.
I get the feeling you will need to get this ending to play the proceeding updates to the story...😮
There are no other endings.
isnt next tau with the operator, now that we broke the link between the hex and the indifference?
you can kill the big dudes, (dedecants) by shooting their crit spots on their backs, or the nodes on their chests to instantly destroy their overguard. their attenuation is limited. would've gone quicker if you'd hit the correct spots. :D
I shot him a bit to pop overguard, flicked him (lifted) with the neutral+block combo hit and then shot again to unlift him and then deleted most of his health bar with a ground finisher bleed and then parazon'd him when he popped.
DE got me acting like a sleeper agent and "This is What You Are" is my activation code
I have noticed that brozime is using a new amp. Does any ine know what amp he is using? My 777 feels super weak, and idk why.
I personally use a 747. (big laser for continuous damage and bouncy discs for fire and forget) Broz was using 147. (sniping laser they often use for one shot head-shots on thrax + bouncy discs)
Discs are good for self reviving and just go really crazy in clusters of enemies. You just fire a handful of them into a crowd and dash away and let them do their thing. Just careful to not fire too up close or you stun yourself from the splash like broz did somewhere in the middle of the video.
@DarkmegaGaming thanks, like I said the 777 just feels bad now and I have no clue if it was nerfed or I am just getting bored with it.
Which parts did you use to build the 147 sniper glaive amp?
Turns out it's good to have a super powered being on your side.
Hold of the murmur parts where so fun since I just unleaded the power of the sun with the 7x7
And the Drifter whispered to the Hex "I'm inside you~"*
Man, Entrati. The madman played 5D chess with a chaos god and won. What a banger of a finale ✌🏽😁
The tether between the Drifter and the Hex could be the lines of Kra..being pulled and manipulated..
Please whats your amp combo? 147?
547
Also, i did not get the last final cut scene my game crashed. Do i need to replay the whole mission just to get it?
i feel like the story in the origin system is complete for now after the new war now we follow the drifter's story since for the most part the operator's story is mostly complete for now

Tau, yes.
Oh heck nah son
I aint watching this one yet. Almost spoiled the whole thing for me. I get to see this tomorrow.
Im sure we're going to both the amusement park and the tower, im just curious to which one first.
Tho the tower does give more "final boss" vibes
The Wally scene at the end might be them showing having all fingers?
I have all the connection andcan redo the new year's eve mission
Can I redo it or should I wait to have a greater relation with the hex members?
How did entrati know or assume that the drifter could rewind time?
Where is the lotus from all of this, I thought after the lotus eaters she will play a big role in the new quest but she didn't.
Man I can't wait more to know what deal did she do with the man in the wall.
Warframe has a LOT of ongoing story threads, often setting stuff up multiple quests in advance, her place in this will show itself, don't worry, we're far from done with 1999 I think, the new "accommodations" makes me pretty certain of that
It's a battle through space and time. Everybody involved will have to play their part exactly where and when they need to be.
The operator and lotus are holding back the indifference in the present I believe while we travel to 1999
This music is so good!
They could have sold those noggles for bank but it's super cool they gave them out for free.
i really hope DE lets us have quest replay for main quest AND the true ending cuz i enjoyed this quest way too much
As someone who suffers from panic attacks when overwhelmed, having someone help you "slow it down" when you think you can't hits so much harder than just speeding Amir up.
Would also be cooler instead of "drifter is MC and savior" and more of "drifter here! Let's get therapy y'all depressed bitches"

I was a little disappointed by Aoi's part. When she was panicking about not being able to do it, I thought the drifter would say "then let's do it together" and help her, but instead you just tell her "you can do it" because all she needed was a confidence boost...?
It's fine, I just thought it'd be cooler
Considering how at the start of The Hex you saw images of the Drifter's memories pop up as he tried to transfer into Arthur I'd bet that when he transferred into Aoi it was a "split second Mag tutorial".
Well what they did was show her how to properly use her powers, thats why they used transference.
I think i ranked fsdt eith Lettie because it skipped thr little link thing

WTF EVEN ARE THE VESSELS
Titanic Warframes, I still havent forgotten Rebb's tease of the possibility of transferencing into a kaiju-sized Warframes.
That isn't how "Time" stuff works, which is why writers that use time travel will almost always screw something up.
There are VERY few well written stories that involve time travel.
I was really hoping we'd get a drifter Gemini skin where drifter can merge with any frame to be the head
