    Thank you for sharing this rare footage of Lua lesson from original master. Do I misunderstand something, but how can there be grabs of clothes when Hawaiian warriors parcticing Lua were famous for fighting half naked, having their whole body shaved and even lubricated with oil? 🤔

      You are correct. In olden days the warriors were half naked. Believe he is showing modern applications.

      Depends on the era. Koa warriors would wear helmets and cloaks that were slash resistant. They were designed to prevents slashing techniques from the shark teeth on certain weapons. I cant recall what it was made of. It was some sort of fiber like their strangling cords.

    My grandmaster through my kenpo Sifu I meet grandmaster once and he was funny and joking but you knew he was serious behind the smile!!!
