Wow, thank you. I stayed here one weekend as a kid circa '84 when it was the Ramada; it was fancy for its day, and indeed a happening place. The indoor pool area was impressive and filled with adults who were "friendly" with each other; the lobby was stylishly elegant, and the gift shop sold $250.00 porcelain hand-painted Cabbage Patch Kids (that'd be around $700 today, lol).
