I'm watching this 8 years after the fact, I certainly think it has aged very well. Especially compared to 2WISTED and 2SEXY (prior to the latter's evolution)
Hey guys - i know this is an older vid, but i've just watched all 3 parts for the first time - fantastic job on this car, absolutely fantastic. No silly mods, just care and attention to all the details and really classy work all round. I'd be more than happy to call this my car...you did the forum and yourselves proud
Flash back rewatch on this series but just wanted to say that you guys are awesome thanks all great examples of intuitive thinking and good ol fun car building Madness
I would so love to live next door to "Mighty Car Mods HQ". The smell of rattle can, sanding and starting engines without an exhaust on at all hours of the night. So much fun! I wouldn't sleep I would be so "excited"
Thing that kills me is there is no Dyno results. Surely someone tuned that haltec, I'd love to know. Mine is 31kw stock and I'm about to boost it, wanna know what I can expect.
What do you mean by killed? They do look really good in my opinion, but the paint is not really to my taste, never liked green very much. But I guess some would fit enourmous chromies out of bling city on their car, but I won't judge, it's a different style, and different taste to mine.
Kelly Marshall i do agree the wheels are a little large. the car would look better with factory diameter wheels with low pros. the ground clearance is insane with those rays.
i thought at first, really !!!! but i gave it a chance watched all of the 3 episodes and i absolutely love the end product ! and a 3 cylinder turbo sound spot on !
don't no how meany times iv watch this build , what i do no is that u need to ignore the trolls and keep making vids that inspire ppl to do what they want wirh the cars and to a an extent there lives . simply thank you for what you do 😄
I'm fairly sure the Daihatsu Rocky and Charade were available in the NA in the early 90's. They didn't sell well as they found almost no market for Kei cars in the US and Canada at the time. Suzuki had better luck with the Sidekick and Samurai.
Great job boys the car looks great. Squat, chunky and purposeful and painted in a classy restrained colour. Any more pics of the finished car? Also check out our development car at DCG1. Search for 'The Ft Project'.
Cyril Schoenacker the cost should not matter its a one of a kind work of art with thousands of man hours put into it you can't put a price on that, its one of a kind its priceless , I'm an apprentice spray painter that paintjob would cost 3-4 grand and 5-600$ for the paint it self
koda Smith I see what you mean speaking of art. But for me it would be great to know the price of the parts and stuff, for people that don't really have a big car culture, it would give them an opportunity to know what they can expect to pay for parts, judge if the price is too high or to low, thing like that. Paint is different because, I believe, man cost are a big part of the price, is it ? And also there's always the "wow factor", a lot of tv shows show the cost at the end. I hope you go the point of what I said, I'm French so there might be some mistakes. ^-^
Cyril Schoenacker you did really well for being French!! and yeah it would be nice to know the price on some things and your right its a lot of manhours in the painting stage
But the thing is a lot of the more costly stuff was from sponsors or companies that offered MCm themselves. For example, the paint job, recaros, and the Haltech ecu.
Nice Custom L700 Daihatsu Mira (Cuore). You guys turned a ordinary bog standard Japanese Kei-Car into a extraordinary, stylish, and "Mighty" little pocket rocket.
This was awesome. Seeing it made em feel better about my car which is in horrible condition. I do all the work myself and someday it will be like new again. Slowly but surely.
For 4500$ you could have a freshly imported and registred Chaser with no more than 70k miles on the clock and a 1JZ VVT-I ^^ But a turbocharged Mira still a crazy mad car ^^
Wow! LOVE this video! It was a great story and an awesome project. I LOVE the picture montage at the end. It really puts a highlight on the fun and excitement that you guys had building this car. AWESOME!! Will there be another project car in the future? I'll donate!!
Stock the car makes 55 horsepower but after the turbo conversion how much power does the car produce? It would have been fantastic if that the Blue Turd 1.3 engine was turbo charged
Awesome Job guys. I enjoy watch your videos, not just because they may be sporty but they are also Educational. The car look something like Suzuki Ignis now that its finish, But never the less I love it.
When I roll in the show, this is what they see Little K-car painted Mighty Mods Green It's got the turbo badge and and we ain't afraid to show it I've got a turbo and it's blowin'
CAR CHRISTMAS id be soo pumped to get all that stuff man. Im always ordering things and working on my car or cars. Best part is recieving your orders in the mail
I just converted my 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer from an automatic to a manual transmission. I bypassed the ignition/starter wiring so I can start it in all gears with the clutch down but i had to keep the ECU to thinking it was still an automatic because it didn't start when I put the manual settings. I also plan to turbocharge it. My question is, can I still modify the car (turbocharge and turbo support mods) even though the car still thinks it's an automatic? and would run like any other turbocharged manual transmission car?
all cars are awesome, personally i respect the fact that they can take any car they want and tune it i can see where your comming from but everyone has there own style maybe they just like those kind of cars
WOW this is in 2011 and i just found you guys, Time to binge watch your channel 24/7 for weeks! you guys are awesome, and love your humour.
Exactly what I've been doing
Nick Withford lol same
jenkyjenksWOW yep same
Robert Bizacky lmao same

Watching this in 2019 thinking "Where did Rake go?"
Rake stopped loving it.
@Toni it’s 2021 now, still don’t know where he went
@@Bloodreign137 maybe one day he’ll love it
Apparently he started a very successful gardening business, they say he’s cleaning up
It’s 2023
at 19:43 it looks like he was taking a mighty bowl hit from that brake caliper.
good catch
I'm watching this 8 years after the fact, I certainly think it has aged very well. Especially compared to 2WISTED and 2SEXY (prior to the latter's evolution)
Gotta love auto subtitles! "Muddy got the spacers in so we could choke on the wheels"
Syrian Brake calipers and Mighty Car Mods Grey instead of Green.
I think this is the best mcm project they've done because it really stressed their skills and they really came together on this one. Great job guys.
finally, some mechanics that understand ballin' on a budget! great videos, and its cool to see some cars ive never even heard about getting modded
Hey guys - i know this is an older vid, but i've just watched all 3 parts for the first time - fantastic job on this car, absolutely fantastic. No silly mods, just care and attention to all the details and really classy work all round. I'd be more than happy to call this my car...you did the forum and yourselves proud
That car looks sweet. You make me want to buy an old junker just to see if I can make it pretty again, too!
so, did you ?
Flash back rewatch on this series but just wanted to say that you guys are awesome thanks all great examples of intuitive thinking and good ol fun car building Madness
will it fit in my honda?
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaas
+brandon hakki yeah, the car is quite small so it could probably fit in the boot of a civic
+brandon hakki fit in my bathroom lol
+brandon hakki hhh i have a civic too but its 1981 break
in a honda ridgeline maybe? like legit, could it?
so great to hear how far the music has come over the last 7yrs.
cheers, Moog!
holy shit this is the future ECU for Gramps in that MAzda!
Considering this is from 2011 and gramps wasn't made till 2014 and they got the ecu from haltec I doubt it
+Carol Cateson it was a joke m8 :D gramps would be farting that out
I would so love to live next door to "Mighty Car Mods HQ". The smell of rattle can, sanding and starting engines without an exhaust on at all hours of the night. So much fun! I wouldn't sleep I would be so "excited"

1ls376 d
I really enjoyed watching this series and all your other videos!
The wheel choice really killed it.
What do you mean by killed? They do look really good in my opinion, but the paint is not really to my taste, never liked green very much. But I guess some would fit enourmous chromies out of bling city on their car, but I won't judge, it's a different style, and different taste to mine.
They're too big.
They never showed us when they replaced the steering wheel :(
Skycat_22 they showed the wheel before it was installed I think
don't no how meany times iv watch this build , what i do no is that u need to ignore the trolls and keep making vids that inspire ppl to do what they want wirh the cars and to a an extent there lives . simply thank you for what you do 😄
They need to bring Daihatsu to the US
I'm fairly sure the Daihatsu Rocky and Charade were available in the NA in the early 90's. They didn't sell well as they found almost no market for Kei cars in the US and Canada at the time. Suzuki had better luck with the Sidekick and Samurai.
Naturally aspirated is a country now?
Rudpavv Rudpavv
North Americas (Canada/US/Mexico)...
You know that America has more countries then that right?
Ty Hobbs
North America is a Continent... But I'm done replying to your attempted trolling.

This is an incredible piece of video. Amazing finale to this little Mira series.
Looks slick, only one thing... we need to go lower
l love the way that the show is slowly progressing into the australian version of Hot Rod Garage. SOOOO COOL!!
Great job boys the car looks great. Squat, chunky and purposeful and painted in a classy restrained colour. Any more pics of the finished car? Also check out our development car at DCG1. Search for 'The Ft Project'.
/Dream Car Garage 1 (DCG1) got from,;&!@"
Amazing sound from that little car I think all of MCM is epic so WELL DONE.
It'd be cool to do a résumé of the car's cost at the end of the videos !
Cyril Schoenacker the cost should not matter its a one of a kind work of art with thousands of man hours put into it you can't put a price on that, its one of a kind its priceless , I'm an apprentice spray painter that paintjob would cost 3-4 grand and 5-600$ for the paint it self

koda Smith haha thank you ! Have a nice New Year's eave mate ! :)
But the thing is a lot of the more costly stuff was from sponsors or companies that offered MCm themselves. For example, the paint job, recaros, and the Haltech ecu.

I would love to move over to Australia, but I like guns.
+Brandon Le You can own guns here.
+Mr. Grimm Not if you're a douchebag though. No guns for douchebags. Douchebags do not have the right to bare arms.
To be honest the modifications laws in Australia suck. Can’t get everything licensed
Alex Mackenzie same in America, even non violent felons can't posses firearms legally.
mr grimm, not my guns and FREEDOM.
Awesome Job guys. I enjoy watch your videos, not just because they may be sporty but they are also Educational.
The car look something like Suzuki Ignis now that its finish, But never the less I love it.

@29.59 is that Mr Sato of Zenith Car Shop (Japan) in the background?
Pretty bad ass orchestral piece in the end. Moog has talent.

Pure Inspiration.
Great job! Where did u get the clear side indicators from? Are they made for this car or another type?

moog can you tell me please what is the music or tune played on 8:03
Jamil Mahmoud Moog - Running out of time

Looks amazing. Just a shame we don't get to see you actually driving it.
What happened to the car after it was done?
