I love that Rihanna does not have to go over the top like all the other singers. She’s just special, evokes every different kind of emotion, every vocal skill/being creative and exploring her voice. She’s just not a loud singer but she’s def powerful singer especially when she’s performing ballads like Love on the brain, Diamonds and Stay.

Have to say, I'm very disheartened to hear that there are those out there that cannot love this song and don't want to hear it over and over, or at least think that it is one of the most beautiful songs out there, also realizing that it is especially, a tribute song. It was played on the radio for awhile when the movie was out, but did not get enough attention as it deserved.
I think while there are a couple of times that could have been stronger with her vocals during her performance, I appreciate the way Rihanna presented it, very real, soulful and heartfelt. I love her voice here, it's perfect for this song, and I am glad no one else was chosen to sing it. I do wish it was longer, a very beautiful kind of lullaby, that I have seen many people feel that was spiritual and also healing, very ethereal..
And yes, a woman has already pointed out about how difficult it can be to sing as you usually would, as physically you cannot breath normally with the physical adjustments your body goes through while pregnant. You have to reach and compose your notes differently with your more difficult breathing.

She even sounded way better and clearer in live audience version.
