I absolutely love the counterpoint here! The thick texture is so enjoyable to listen to, as well as the harmonic changes in the middle section! It turns from something Scriabin to Chopin then becomes Rachmaninov, and the ending of the middle section reminds me something like the last prelude in Chopin!s op.28! The ending is great too. Thx for sharing your music! Henry
Hello Henry, I must say, the style changes are very well spotted! :D Even though i had no intention of taking something from their music, I was highly influsenced by them at that period. Thank you for listening, it is always my pleasure!
This Prelude, Opus 10, No 1, is magnificent, Nikita. Your composition in parts conveys a sense of peace and contentment; in other parts feelings of incredibly dramatic intensity. A wonderful composition, beautifully and meticulously played, which I have enjoyed greatly. Thanks so much for making this prelude available to hear.
What is the fundamental knowledge of such complex and incredible music that I need? I play the violin but composing is increasingly getting into my head and the itch only makes the aspirations firmer.
Very beautiful i hear vibes of scribain
Thank you!
