- Ice fishing season is here! What better way to start off the ice fishing season than with some fantastic, clear water sight fishing.
In today's video we are targeting big brookies through thin ice. In this video, I explain and show the importance of using smaller presentations for well educated fish.

Man I’m a huge fan of yours! I’ve been watching your videos for the longest time 🤟. I especially love the ice-fishing and salmon fishing videos. I absolutely love sight fishing brook trout. Even rewatching the video gets me excited to get back out. Glad you enjoyed the footage! I try to stick to that style of netting when possible. Much easier of the fish and way more efficient hook removal. Looking forward to your upcoming videos! Hopefully if I keep it up I’ll be able to make a career out of this like you did! I have trouble fitting a soft mesh net in an 8 inch hole. Definitely some hole envy here.

@kilbOutdoors I'm more of an ice troller. But you got that, the majority seem to love the sight holes. Great for a viewing experience.

Beautiful little lake outside of Houston area. The ice certainly took its time, but grateful that we’ve got some!
