I legit love how honest and upfront Kayla is with her anxiety and stuff, like how she started this video by saying she just had a good cry lol. It makes me feel a lot better about my anxiety, I like how relatable she is!

@@AngxlicSunsetYT Talking in person to people can also be stressful. I feel like it’d be a lot easier to just take your mind off of things and cope by doing this. Although people do have different ways of handling their mental so I suppose it varies for each person

I have builds that are better, but boy, can she beat me by MILES when it comes to getting these out there. So many of these awesome simmers can make full builds in a day, and I struggle to get one done a week. haha

Kayla blessing us with yet another out-of-comfort-zone build
I’ve actually had bare concrete floors in the last two places I’ve lived. I love how I can give no forks about taking care of them and they’re so easy to clean. It’s actually less slippery than tile or wood, but it has it’s inconveniences. If you fall down or drop something, there will be damage. I dropped my favorite mug off of a couch that was less than two feet high and it shattered into a million pieces.

More clutter in debug would be so awesome. Also the idea of the possibility to move windows in an apartment would be awesome. Also I would like to pimp the hallway of apartments. Once you renovated apartments like Chic Street, the hallway just looks so out of place. Loved this industrial project!

As someone with ocd I love and cherish my tiles and hardwood floors. Carpets are somehow my worst enemy, the one I've got in my living room gets vacuumed to death every day, sometimes multiple times a day. The average north American house with carpets EVERYWHERE is like my worst nightmare. Living in one would probably give me mental breakdowns every day 😂

About the concrete floor, I have it in my house I love it. We also have a floor-heating. I find it very comfortable

As someone who grew up in a house with only hardwood floor (except in the bathrooms [so yeah, wood in the kitchen]) I've always wanted a house with a lot of carpet, I like that it hides messes, and that you can walk in socks without falling.
Omg you should do a "style challenge" like each room a different style or just use a style randomizer to build house or apartment. Styles like boho, shabby chic,mid century modern, retro, industrial, etc. Maybe even randomise what kind of build it should be:house, apartment, tiny house, treehouse etc. Could be the start of a really fun challenge trend! Likeif you agree!

A lot of times when she says shes "branching out" it's still a little bit blue suburban-y. I'm genuinely impressed by how different this build is. It turned out so good. And so different. Bravo.
Challenge idea: All one color house. Spin a wheel and everything in the house has to be that color. Windows, furniture, doors, floors, roof, etc. (If something doesn't come in that color like landscaping or doors it just has to have that color on it or mainly that color)

@@fishyy4589 Not just cold, standing and working on concrete will kill your feet and legs. My job added laminate flooring over the concrete, and it felt so much better on our bodies.

You know how in build and buy mode there are different categories of objects? Like build, objects by room, objects by function? Id be very interested in seing you build a house taking the "objects by room" category as a floorplan and try to do it as close to the image as possible!!

I really like that you've gone out of your comfort zone and I think that it went really well! It is quite beautiful! To me the rug in the living room doesn't really work with the bright pinky red but that's just me. Besides that, amazing build Kayla! :)
I love this apartment. I made it a 2-room. And in the child’s room, I did Bunk Bed using platforms. It is SO GOOD!
Idea for a challenge: Take an “apartment “ off the gallery and turn it into a house.
I love how Kayla talked for 2 minutes about hardwood floors, lol
Cups, bowls ,plates, mugs, obvious cook books, need all that for open shelving. Like some plates with bowls stacked but also just plates and just bowls. Like I need all the options for the open shelving

DAY TWO: of requesting that lilsimsie come and sympathize with us broke wannabe simmers by playing/reacting to the torture that is The Sims FreePlay mobile game.
I think I’d love to live somewhere with concrete floors especially in this semi-industrial style. Concrete is super good for wheelchairs. I’ve got carpet and it’s like trying to walk on a mattress the whole time. Though I’d probably cover it in comfy rugs and get caught on the edges all the time

As someone who grew up with carpeted floors. I miss them 😭 I have 2 cats and hardwood floors. Now matter how many times I sweep or mop there are always balls of fur rolling around.
Sometimes you just need a good cry, which is actually good for you because when you do that you're actually crying out stress chemicals, which is why you often feel much better afterwards.
Honestly, carpets gross me out, especially older ones. I just feel like you can never get them fully clean. With how much my dogs shed, I'd never want them.

Big showers - I use Windows and the glass door (put a wall first) and add the University or snowy escape shower inside, works well
I love hardwood flooring too. Having a cat that throws up a lot and having carpet at the time was just annoying to clean up. Hardwood is so much easier to clean!!!

I have a small lung infection, and I remembered that lung stuff always makes me cry so much! I had to be really nice to myself over it, and laugh while saying, "I suck at EVERYTHING". 😅
