Hi Balt! That's really interesting to hear, is that the University Royal Navy Unit? (Just to make sure I've got the acronym correct). If so, wish him all the very best, I'm assuming he's thinking of joining the Royal Navy? Hope he has some great weather too! Take care
Hi Eddie! We hope you're keeping well. Many thanks for your kind words and support, it's appreciated. We always have the blues on our last evening at Oldham Hall, as it's sad to leave such a beautiful place. However, we will be back in the future to do it all again! Take care
Hi Stuart! Hope you're keeping well and thanks for the comment. Hope you enjoyed your evening at Somerleyton, it's a lovely spot. How's the weather and River Heights down The Broads at the moment? Would be curious to hear, as we've heard of some high River Levels this season. Take care
@@twomenandaboat8681 Hi there, yes i'm great thanks hope your well too. It was a great night thanks, the winter months were high levels and a lot of flooding but that weekend and still now its seems back to normal. Now the weather is getting better i hope to do a few more videos.
I'll also say i just noticed i wasn't subscribed to you anymore ? i never done that.... I've seen a few people i follow say that has happened latterly must be a RUclips thing.
Hi Graham! Many thanks for your comment and kind words, we hope you have a cracking time in July (fingers crossed for some nice weather). We have been to Loddon on numerous occasions (but this was before we started making videos). We do have a couple of videos on our channel where we cruise up the Chet towards Loddon and moored at Pye's Mill for the evening. So please make sure you check out our: May 2023 Day 1 and Day 2 videos for some nice footage of cruising up The Chet. In the future, I'm sure we will get some footage of a nice walk that we like to do around Loddon. We agree, it's a lovely spot. Unfortunately, we few years ago, we didn't have a great experience when we moored at the Staithe (ourselves and another boat decided to leave the moorings early due to some anti-social behaviour), so now we do prefer to stay at Pye's Mill, which is a little further out and more peaceful. Take care!
Thanks so much for your comment and kind words, it's really appreciated. Have to say, we've also just checked out your video in Portugal, seemed like a great boating holiday!
Thank you! Glad you checked out my video of Alqueva. It was a great holiday, very different from the broads. I need a lot of practice before I’m anywhere near as good at filming as you guys !!!
Hi Robert, many thanks for your comment; I'm assuming that you're heading to The Broads this September then? Will have our fingers crossed for you for some good weather. Take care
Hi Val! Hope you're both keeping well. We are going to be back soon; but our next vlog series is going to be a little bit different. Keep your eyes peeled! Take care
Brundall Fen moorings…there’s a wooden walkway that leads through the fen up to a railway crossing. The path from there takes you up to Brundall High Street, coming out beside the church, not that far from The Ram pub (turn left). There are two Coop stores, one just beyond The Ram, the other in the opposite direction. There’s also a pizza takeaway not far from The Ram and a newish Indian restaurant just beyond the Coop that’s in the other direction. (Seems odd to have two Coops but I gather one is an East of England one, the other presumably a national one.) Also, you mentioned Langley Dyke. You can now moor there, but it’s managed by the landowner not the BA. I think (not been there, just read about it) it’s something like £10 for the first night and that you can book a mooring online in advance.
Thanks for letting us know exactly where the path at Church Fen leads, it's something that we were always curious about. It's also nice to know that it does lead up to The Ram, as we pass that pub on our way to pick the boat up. Sounds like it's also a nice place to moor up to stock up on a few bits. Take care
Lovely vlog, we're goin in may and I said to hubby we'll go south this time. I wanna go to oultan broad and maybe Beccles, any more ideas, I know you've been all over the southern broads, Where's your fav place? Xxx
Hi Val! Thanks for your comment as always and we hope you are both keeping well. Our favourite place on the Southern Broads... that's a tricky one! It's hard to narrow it down to just one, but some of our absolute favourites would have to be: Hardley Mill, Ferry House Surlingham, Coldham Hall and Reedham. But I think there are so many nice places on the South Rivers. Take care!
Hi Stuart, yes on that day in particular, there was a four car pile-up on the A1 involving both carriages! So that was a nightmare journey. Thankfully, it's never been as bad as that since. Normally takes us around 7.5 hours on average; which I still find quite painful, but worth it. Take care
Cracking vid lads keep doing them there great
Hi Paul - many thanks for your comment and kind words, it's most appreciated. We hope you're enjoying the series so far. Take care

My nephew starts a week on the Broads tomorrow with URNU, hoping he has similarly favourable weather.
Thanks for another predictably beautiful upload.
