Just so you know, the extreme 19th hole is at the Legends Golf course in South Africa (green in the shape of the African continent). I would also recommend looking at Leapords Creek, also in South Africa.

Travelling for work and being in a constant state of 'Uncomfortability' is so relateable. People think it's all glamourous that you get to see new places all the time, but it can be super draining and tiring. But, you're right, in the end it's all okay :)

I loved that video on chipping you did with her, it has totally changed my short game around the greens from playing green tennis going one side to the other, I'm now actually getting a lot more of my chips in the dustbin lid range. I totally agree with you on judging people for yourself, I remember once a friend of mine got me an interview for a job and I got the job and he said oh I should warn you about this guy, I don't think you'll get on with him at all. The guy he spoke about became a good friend and it turned out he was a good friend of my cousin as well, so never let people sway your opinion of people. I'm happy you found someone who aligns with your lifestyle and makes you happy, loneliness is tough. :)

Ah Mia. Extreme 19th is at Legends in South Africa. I have not played it but have many mates that have. You must come to SA though, we have so many great courses and the weather is top notch. Recommendations, obviously Gary Player at Sun City, Leopard Creek (OMG) and then in the Cape, play Arabella, Steenberg and Clovelly. Make a trip of it, you cannot go wrong!
You are doing great. I find it helpful to try to always stay happy and do what I want. Millions of people make relationships work while being busy and successful. Movie stars, military, pro athletes . You have a great handle on life and I think you will succeed past your expectations. Your videos make me want to golf everyday. Keep the love of life and the game.😊😊😊

I agree with the sentiments below, Bale is the most accomplished player against all the odds. He should always remember that he was definitely in the same category as Ronaldo & Messi and so often single-handedly made the difference to produce a winning performance for club and country.

Love the quotes and advice you shared on staying positive! So I have a bit of a long personal question, possibly for your next Q&A? Namely around getting unsolicited advice as a woman and mental toughness.
I just started playing 3 months ago, and it’s been so addicting. And it’s been so encouraging watching your videos, especially the golf girls series! My instructor has praised how fast I’m progressing, but I still have a lot to improve on of course. Some days on the range/course, I do pretty well, and other days my body just feels off.
What’s frustrating is that yesterday, I received unsolicited advice for the second time from a man… I usually go with my husband but went by myself this time, and even went to the very back to stay out of sight. I started off with 5 AMAZING shots, then when I look up and see people looking, I continue to just shank every ball. 😑 Then this guy (after only seeing my bad shots) comes over to give me advice, and continues to watch me swing even when I nicely tell him “thanks, I’m working on stuff I did with my instructor this weekend.” Then I continued to shank b/c of him just standing there. The worst part is, he said he just started playing this week then shanked a few of his own shots after…
Have you dealt with any of this when first starting out? And any tips on how to tune out other people and stay focused on your game? I know what things to work on technically, but I definitely have trouble with my mental game (& being blunt to others), especially when I see people looking at me. Would so appreciate your thoughts!
Firstly - thank you for your message and also super well done on your golf progress! Sounds like you’re doing so well!!! And also so happy you’re loving it!
Don’t forget golf is HARD - bad days ALWAYS happen but it’s part and parcel of the journey - and the goal to be better!!! But sounds like you’re smashing it in your practice sessions anyway!!
I mean unsolicited advice is something you’ll get in all walks of life - not just golf - but I think in my opinion the best thing to do is just kindly say thank you - and then in your head - you have to train yourself to block out the noise and keep your focus on what YOU’RE doing. Think of it like a little mental game training!
There’s that age old story of Tiger - where his dad constantly made noise and tried to distract him when he’s playing - so he would effectively have to train himself to block noise out. Which then benefited him when he was competing.
I’d defo look to try and do that!! You’re a strong minded woman - you’ve got this!!
(Plus try and remember - they’re doing it because they are trying to help you - so it’s coming from a good place :)) thank them and then focus :)

You Mia a inspiration to me because I also feel the same as you, as a loner with no purpose or goal, it's very hard to admit what you are to other people or family. Mu family is absolutely supportive and very caring. My only advice to you Mia is that: don't let other people get you down because I think your fantastic, beautiful, caring and funny. Great list - I've played Pebble, Poppy, and Spyglass (all are amazing) outside the box for 3 amazing golf courses - "Sugarloaf GC" in Maine in the Fall is breathtaking. Aurora in Anguilla (tons of A list Celebs play/hang here) and Banff Canada is so pretty.
Any plans to come to Australia?
I played the Extreme 19th....was a incredible experience...I didn't hit the green, however the guy that took a video of me hitting made one of only a handful of birdies...there is also an incredible Par 3, 10 hole course there that replicates some of the best Par 3's in the world including The Postage Stamp and the 17th at TPC Sawgrass....

Hi Mia, I've just been out to play a round with my dad and the toe down chipping tip you mentioned was an absolute game-changer for me and my chipping around the greens... We played Stableford and he still beat me, but this time only by one point haha!
What handicap are you playing off now?

I’m really chuffed you have someone in your life and Olly is a great cricketer and I’m sure a great golfer as they have great hand eye co ordination. Keep up the good work. I’m trying the chipping tip but think I need to practice it for a long session. Finally have you played Farleigh which is Foxhills sister course. It’s a great set up of 3 9s you can olay in combo

Hi Mia, it's amazing what you have achieved in a short space of time. I'd be happy to offer my assistance and free labour to assist with your content. I've a Nikon Z6 with a selection on lenses and an inspire V2 drone with a couple of lenses, I would need to retake my exam to be a qualified drone pilot as I have let it lapse. The sound is too dark! So it's really hard to hear what you're saying. On top of that you're speaking really fast so its being a large jibber jabber.
You should listen to it yourself, you should be able to tweak the sound.
