It was so damn upsetting that IG-11 died to save The Mandalorian. I know it wouldn't make sense to do a round two with a droid in a star wars series but Mando is better than an oblivious soldier 😢😢😢
@@PeterOrmiston Maybe because it doesnt have the SW heart and just feels like a mundane story set in SW universe that could be set anywhere else. I happen to like that kind of serious almost somber, hopeless tone as long as it adds to a character I like and I like Cassian. The show is definitely grittier in a sad way.
See, the robot figured out the correct answer to the Trolley Problem why do you supposedly moral organics struggle so much with this? [Sentence about uses for fascists other than ever even maybe once one time for half of a second even think about electing them to lead you in any endeavor, organization, or give them authority in any fashion has been omitted].
@WatcherPlug I've witnessed and engaged countless discussions on the topic of the Trolley Problem, and I must admit to never ceasing to be frustrated by most people's immediate reduction of its purpose and implications to being one of utilitarianism when it is much, MUCH more than that. I have watched several tenured philosophy professors teach this in class without ever once mentioning agency, or the responsibility inherent to creatures of free will who impact their surroundings, or the goddamn Categorical Imperative, which the very crux of moral question at the heart of the exercise. But, I believe you're correct that artificial or constructed lifeforms will likely have an easier time of properly understanding the various connotations and denotations intrinsic to philosophical exercises like the Trolley Problem and as a result they should be able to have easier time having the moral outcomes of their choicds and actions be more congruent with their intent when making those decisions.
I’m glad he didn’t kill em those two had some funny small talk during the time they were on camera
@@waffleguy5724 this talk is on my channel too
Ah yes, getting your head slammed several times into a speeder won't do anything
These guys remind me of the college humor storm trooper skits 😂

The mandelorian series single handedly saved the Star Wars franchise
Andor and Rogue One are helping.
@ I do love rogue one, but I have watched through season 1 of andor twice, and I still don’t like it. But honestly I have no idea why 😐
@@PeterOrmiston I hope it will still save star wars after acolyte
Oooh acolyte was pretty rough. Managed a couple episodes, but tbh like andor and asoke I just felt like it was stale

Ig-11 is a nurse program on a battle droid
I want a nurse Droid...
@@rogersheddy6414 you'll get one in no time
Baby Yoda is cute.
I guess robots in the Star Wars universe are not Three Laws compliant.
Definetly not the IG-11 model 😂
we need him back
I think he's gone forever ;-;
One of my favorite episodes...also still proves that those troopers are horrible shots...😅😅

The animation is not smooth enuogh, to jerky.
It's meant to be that way. Smoother doesn't mean better.
