This was very interesting to say the least. Ive got a few of these guys back myself. Some of those guys Ive never even heard of. This would be fun to do with the Topps Pro Debut set I think. Hopefully, you will some more back. Thanks so much for sharing! You've definitely given me some ideas here.
Really Awesome returns Troy!!! Hopefully you get a bunch more successes in. I always love your editing skills. I apologize i really need to comment more. Hey Troy would you ever be willing to do a Livestream with me shooting the breeze and me asking you some questions? I know you are busy so no hard feelings if you do not have the time.
I only sent out five cards from 2023 Topps. I got 2 back... Jermaine Palacios from the Detroit Tigers and Louie Varland from St. Paul Saints (Varland might have been hard to catch because he was up and down from minors to majors a lot this year).
the sad part is this gets worse and worse each year. i remember i first did this in the 90's. i got about 35% of mlb players back, and 85% of minor leaguers. i don't even try now.
As more and more are signed to exclusive contracts with card companies and then know set collectors spend big bucks, its unfortunately a reality. Thats why Im always super excited to get something from a current player.
Tony I would like to reach out to you, I just got my old collection of TTM autographs back from a person I was doing business with, I am looking at doing to bulk sale of the items very cheap. Best one in there is a Donald Trump signed dollar wihich I got from him before he ran for office which will not be cheap Some sports stuff, mostly actors which will be cheap in bulk. Is your email posted on here anywhere? (I will make the rangers snafu to you on my own. I have something from the rangers I will send you for free It is 100$ value retail plus a Poor Condition unused ticket from Nolans last no hitter.) I am starting over going just after cards this time around, not pictures or index cards lke I did in the past. Lets talk to see if you interested!
Did you send each card out by iteself, or did you just dump a pile of the team at one time? Did you use a form letter? You might want clarify exactly what you did and how, just saying,
@@TTMAutograph i hear you. I just back into the hobby this past week and sent 100 basketball cards Ihope it is not this brutal. I used to pick two teams in basball and send to spring training.
So far I have received 27 cards from 26 players out of almost 660 total cards sent for my 2023 "Send all the Cards" project. Any surprises?
Cool video! Hopefully you get more back in the offseason!

Dang, you only got 36 responses to your 600+ send outs? That insane, and not in a good way..

I suppose you can call it a start, of you want to be opptimistic, or a .045% otherwise. Not looking good for MLB TTMing.

Hey! my email is just troy(at)tthmautograph.com. I don't really buy anything, unfortunately. I spend too much on postage. ha.

One at a time, spreads out over several weeks, 3 or so to each time at a time. Total cost in stamps was about $830.
@@TTMAutograph ouch I wpuld try a couple of teams at spring training
Yeah, this was just an experiment. Was fun, I guess, but wont do it on this scale ever again. :D
@@TTMAutograph i hope they sent some of the unsigned cars back
