  • On June 10, 2015, 49 year-old, Slate Hill/Minisink Area resident, Scott Demberg, drove himself to Garnet Health Medical Center's Emergency Room experiencing cardiac distress. Within 13 minutes from walking in the door at the Emergency Room, he was on a table in the Cath Lab. Scott was diagnosed with a 98% blockage in his right aorta. The staff at Garnet Health Medical Center, formerly known as Orange Regional Medical Center, performed a procedure to clear the blockage and also inserted a stent.
