I spoke broken Spanish for a long time and now Im learning how to speak correctly ! All this is what I needed. I'm so excited to finally get this verb!!!! It's true , we use it for everything !thank you!
Living in Madrid and have been learning Spanish for years, but your video lessons are great for revision, thank you! I am revising, learning and, hopefully, improving as a result of your classes. I'm sure my Spanish friends are going to be pleasantly surprised when I meet them after this quarantine ends. Stay safe all!
i dont usually comment but i have been studying indirect object pronouns from my school and this guy explained it soooo much better than my teachers 😖 u always get confused how to use me, te, le, etc. thank you!!!! more learning techniques and videos pls.
I am Russian, married three years ago to French and living in USA, where I suppose to need English but not in Miami where everyone speaks Spanish. So I have to have impeccable English, fluent Spanish and French (everybody know how French ppl punish you for bad French ))) and i don’t have much time to learn. To be honest - these videos are very helpful in my struggle and I finally summarized all the grammar. I don’t feel so lost in conjugations and tenses anymore, thanks to you dr. Danny!
This is quite tricky for me. I am learning in a class, with you and I also am doing Rosetta Stone. This lesson is the most advanced for me so far. I will do as you say and practice when I am driving to work for a while before I start trying to say these.
Who is the language tutor??? Im up to lesson 43, Ive learnt so much from this man and i dont know his name??? THANK YOU SIR! You charts are a game changer!!
Danny as you said it's magic and I feel I'm understanding much more each time I watch your videos. Muchas gracias. Helen. I also love the way you use the graft .
Such a useful lesson. This is a really important verb in spoken Spanish and I could not get to grips with the interplay between it and the pronouns. I can now :-) thank you!
The word "di" is used in those two verbs, for example: Le di las gracias al profesor - I thanked the professor. Di lo que quieras decir - Say whatever you want to say.
Thank youuuuuuuu 😍😍 dont know how my learning will go without YOU and the chart 😍🙏🙏🙏 If its not too much to ask.. could you please add a 10 sec for using verbs in ((order form)) tell me...set...eat.. etc.. appreciate your effort..
I like the way you teach!! A lot!! It is my learning style. Also this is my first video of yours that I've watched. My husband and I are living in Mexico and learning Mexican Spanish so I was wondering if you indicate differences in Mexican Spanish and Spain Spanish. I noticed you mentioned it regarding vosotros but I know there are many differences. Anyway thank you! I'm glad I found you. We will start learning form your videos.
Hi, I'm Mexican, and yes, there are diffrences, but apart from the obvious pronunciation of the letters "c" and "z", I would say most of the differences arise from the fact that we use different words to call certain things, which doesn't mean that Mexicans and Spaniards don't understand each other. The same applies to the rest of the Spanish speaking countries.Comparing Spanish from Spain with Spanish from Mexico is like comparing British English with American English.
Wow everytime I study something just finally clicks. This video is awesome for sentence structure being backwards.thanks for not saying stuff to fast. More examples would have really brought this video right over the top. Gracias por un vídeo excelente
I realized a very interesting point during this lesson. I've been having hard time with placing the indirect object pronoun before the verb. I find it silly since the lesson you taught us. I realized now that in my mother language, Turkish, it is also done this way. I was having hard time because I've learned Spanish from English (from you, more precisely), not from Turkish. Ridiculously funny. Thank you for the lesson!
Yeah, I also learned Spanish from English and I had troubles with the word order a lot, but then I also realized that the syntax is really similar to my native tongue - Czech, it is a whole new perspective!
@@TheLanguageTutor thanks so much ,I won't forget to thank you for all your help, maybe I will start teaching you Swahili our official language of East Africa

Got it. Went back to lesson 20 and worked on it. Saw the personal a at the end. It seems easy now - always put an a between the verb and the person! Really that easy😊👍. I did see a small error at 5.20 the ´leer´ reappeared when you were only meaning to have ´lee ´ there. If you watch that segment you will see what I mean. Thank you.
This was super useful, thank you. I have been trying different combinations (like your examples) and it’s falling in place without having to refer to the notes:)
I just had a thought. Last week we did the personal a in Spanish class. I don’t get this. Any chance you could interrupt you schedule of videos to do one on this topic? Thank you for considering this 😊
Hey Jeff! Go to lesson 20 on this channel. I actually covered that but I put it at the end of another lesson. Check it out but let me know if you need help!

Hello sir, Much support, and thanks for you efforts. I trying to exercice myself to remember with a set of examples. However i've got a question: How would a sentence contaning both direct and indirect object? Thank you!
@@TheLanguageTutor Brilliant Thank you very much. If i well understood, the sentence would be formed as such: Subject + Indirect Object + Direct Object + Verb.
shishir sharma Yes, it is Because “it” is singular So it will be Ellos me lo dan. But also can be Ellos me los dan if there are tow or more things or animals. 😊
I am curious about if you speak to be understood by non-native English speaker or not. Because your speach is really clear and understandable for us. Thank you very much for everything that you do 🙏🙏
Question. You don't change the stem of a stem changing verb in the preterite tense right? Like jugar in the present yo form is Juego but in the past it is Juge? I saw it on google translate.
I am just learning as well. However, I feel quite sure you could say "Yo te dije" as well - especially if it helps you to learn. I believe that in practice, more often than not, the "Yo" would be dropped. The verb "dije" communicates that it's the "yo" pronoun, so saying yo would probably be redundant. Grammatically correct, but not necessary and probably not used with fluent speakers.
Respected sir, I am Ravishankar, hailing from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, I would like to communicate my writings and feelings in Spanish to my friends, however I could not to do so, due to lack of communication skill, the reason is that I do not have persons to converse and understand the language, though i have been continuously watching your tutorial session. i have been learning your classes on Spanish since 6 months, i could understand and not able to talk due non availability of speaking exercise during your teaching session, I therefore kindly request you to please have such classes to enable students like me will get conversation exercises in order to learn Spanish language faster than the expected time frame and oblige. I anticipate you will do the needful in the subject matter. And please suggest any person who could talk or communicate fluently in Spanish from any country and also who knows English too, who is able to manage both the languages.
The best way is to just learn that it's a stem-changer when you learn the verb. Also, if you practice it regularly, it will only sound right to you a certain way.
Hello sir Danny, I tried a sentence : do you tell him to study ? I made it as : ¿Tú le dice estudiar? To confirm, i saw Google But Google says : ¿Le dices que estudie?

I'm a native Spanish speaker, and I can tell you that his Spanish is really good, and very undestandable over all.
Can you suggest a type of flashcard & what it would look like to practice to memorize this information?
This is the way.
Question. You don't change the stem of a stem changing verb in the preterite tense right? Like jugar in the present yo form is Juego but in the past it is Juge? I saw it on google translate.

Since we mostly don't have vosotros, do we use le for plural as a group (f.e. I told students)??
I heard some people in Spain says "He dicho" as I said, what's the different?
(Yo) dije = I said
(Yo) he dicho = I have said

Hello, Sir. Can we use the personal "a" before indirect object pronouns, or is it only used before the name of a person?
Hi ، would it be possible for you to make me understand what is the difference between decir me and diga me ؟ thanks in advance
Why do you refer to the nosostros section in the chart as being the Spanish version?
what about the preterit vs imperfect?
Hi,
in the imperfect it would be:
(Yo) decía
(Tú) decías
(Él, Ella, Usted) decía
(Nosotros) decíamos
(Vosotros) decíais
(Ustedes) decían
(Ellos) decían
