Looks like a great game, water movement on the windshield looks very real, only downside is that its only on PS4.

I'm jizzing in my pants while watching this. And I'm not even a hardcore gamer... But I'm really mad having a 1000$ pc and can't play such a game...
This looks damn real, and not by how the rain looks like, but how it makes you feel like driving in the rain in the night. I remember driving 12 AM on the Interstate while it there was a thunderstorm and it my god it was really scary driving. Considering the only source of lights was my headlights, which only gave me a good 10 ft ahead of me and lightening. Drive club really perfects the rain mechanic
I love how the headlights, in a sense, zoomed in on the bumper of that Porsche at 1:41 - 1:45. That's amazing.

Seriously? Forza Horizon is a great Open world game with over 200 cars that you can take out and enjoy in realtime dynamic weather, with a Forza next gen driving simulation engine beneath it, you can paint thousands of layers on the car which reflect off wet roads in realtime, you can tune any car to be mm from the ground and adjust things like camber and gear ratio, swap out engines and body kits, you even have detail down to working digital mileometers (odometers) which I bet you don't notice... Then on top of this full online integration with 1000 player clubs, online free roam and road trips, car meets and so on... and you'd give it all up for a game that looks pretty and has rolling water beads on a windscreen... Yes Driveclub looks good but it doesn't hold a candle to what Forza Horizon offers
yes you're right, FH2 is my only option but seeing how detailed the rain is , how the rain shifts on the windsheild when taking hard turns...it's the little details of the game that makes it beautiful. Plus the backfire 2:20 left me with an eargasm , i still love forza horizon 2 thouu.. but after playing this game, gives me second thoughts lol
Yeah I agree they've done a hell of a job with the visuals overall, and the rain gameplay shows me they put a lot of love into this game since launch, kudos to the devs, even after a rocky release... they had many years making this from the ground up, they're making a track based game, locked at 30fps, that has a basic driving physics engine on supposedly the most graphically powerful console... It's much easier to push the visual side with their situation than that of the open world game that had less development time, especially with the much heavier Physics engine lying underneath in Forza Horizon 2... The rain looks great on FH2 but i agree it's a bit static on the car, in fact it doesn't move at all with car speed and direction and things like that are harmful to immersion at the end of the day, in my position, i want to feel like I'm in that cockpit and these little details, the ones Driveclub shows off, kind of add to that, so I see what you mean
Also Backfire definitely needs sorting in Forza, it's improved over time but there is never enough Pop for my liking, only need to hear cars like the F-Type in reality to wish that sounds existed in games haha, hoping this stuff is sorted for the future Forza Motorsport

With the exception of the speed (or lack there of) regarding water build up on the windscreen this looks just like driving in a heavy downpour!
I didn't expected this game will beat Forza but now I'm about to change my mind even if I'm convinced that Forza graphics is astonishing but the weather in this game is freaking realistic
this has better graphics and thats it, FH 2 has much more content, cars, online interaction and also, weather conditions.

Graphics are still great for DC but a shame that DC is a bad game. Gameplay is rly bad.

No! Its is still a bad game. I have the game and i am not trolling. I think you are stupid because u are defending a game like DC ! DC is taking 2 steps back in the racing industrie.It misses so many features thats why it is bad. Nothing cant be done in DC.

So, I just finished up the game. All I have left are challenges to get the plat trophy for this game.
Here are the highlights of my experience with this game and it's simplistic racing, featurless options and fairly decent graphics.
Got my club to world rank 160 apprx.
Never got to race with anyone on my friends list.
Never got to race with anyone in my world class club.
Never got more than 3 online races with strangers without getting server kicked.
Almost never got a clean solo race without the red discon message.
Finished in the top three of 95% of tour events on my first attempt.
Never got to change my tires.
Never got to buy different wheels.
Never got to pit for anything.
Never raced on a race track, only rally tracks.
Never raced in the rain, snow or fog.
Never got to drive a Japanese car.
Never got to drive an American car.
Never got to drive any type of classic, old or muscle car.
Never heard any commentary in the game at all.
Never did an endurance race.
Never did anything other than the three basic races.
Never did anything like the Vettle Challenge and all the others in games like this.
Never had any reason to rank up my driver.
Never got paid for anything cause there is nothing to buy.
Never raced any track where the car felt like it was on a different track.
Every corner in the game had the same exact skid varience/curve ratio.
Never knew the length of any of the tracks.
Never knew how many miles I was driving in a car.
Never felt like the game was anything but an alpha/beta version.
When it was first it's released it was shocking now it's great and its simcade everyone knew this before it was even released, so we knew their was no tyre changing or body kits or engine tuning, you are just a spoilt little nerd, I don't give a shit about the single player which is good it's all about online if you think you're good add me on psn little troll let's see if you're any good.
