I couldn't help but notice the amazing artwork on the original theatrical posters. Why don't they get real artists to do more movie cover-art?

Because it takes more time and costs more money than using photo shop. Why they didn't use that original poster artwork for Freddy's Dead though I have no idea. It's better than the movie.
