the level system is a catastrophe. Buying weapons and then they turn to garbage after a couple level ups. Leveling up is not rewarding. Pure trash system.

Ye man I buy Anti-Champion Riffle and two levels later it is completely useless and they want me to pay 100 gems to upgrade it. How TF am I supposed to keep up with my upgrades if I get like 20 gems / 50 coins per level??? And remember, there are so many other things you need to upgrade like armor, all the other weapons, gadgets, pets, ... . At the beginning ye you can keep up because of welcome bonus and the prices are cheap but later???!!!!!

I’m real frustrated with PG3D, my friend got banned from that coin glitch a few months ago despite not even playing the game, and no matter what he did they kept him banned :/

I think the devs thought that their game was already finished in 2021 and so They decide to repeat this infernal cycle to collect income.
By the way, I find 2021 PG3D quite underrated.

Well said ecko, pretty much addressed all of the core problems. Im glad you addressed a point that is NEVER talked about; the ridiculous amount of types of currencies in this game. This wasn’t something I even thought about until starting over f2p. I realized its SUPER overwhelming for new players and is DEFINITELY causing some people to not want to play
One thing i disagree with slightly is vaulting weapons every season. I think instead they should do with with ranked. That way the game does become entirely skill based because players have to learn new styles. Keep in mind ranked definitely sucks, because the gamemode seems abandoned and half-finished
I miss the old PG3D, not the OLD old PG3D where there was crosses and shields for the health and armor, but when the Ultimatum first came out, when World 4 first came out.

As a clans player, I am so frustrated. The devs are worrying too much about adding new guns and skins, while also not listening to the community. The clans situation is even worse because a lot of people care about their clans, and the devs do absolutely nothing about clans. Even if they mod valor, or use alts to get more valor, they do absolutely nothing about clans. This leads to some people quitting the game since people who care about their clan grind for hours, doing raids and tasks, just to lose to clans modding valor. The devs really do not listen about anything.
I talked with pg3d devs last year about some possible changes and was ignored. I probably know what people want more than them considering I give people items all day. The game wouldn’t be that difficult to fix if they just listened to people 🤷♂️

But i don't think nerfing all weapons will affect all weapons equally. Some may not be affected at all, the way happened with the heavies. Or with the area of damage on melees or shotguns. With how diverse this game is, it won't work. One wrong move that changes all of the guns and you risk making a bigger gap in the gameplay styles

@@botyeeter97 I totally agree, nerfing all weapons by the same degree would be unfair, maybe increasing the nerf by 0.02% for each amount a weapon's damage exceeds 100.

About the badges section located in players’ profile:
Once you’ve completed an achievement you can have the badge of that achievement shown in the badges category, also you can have such rewards like gems, coins, gun skins, weapons, pp tickets, etc when you have completed an achievement. An achievement for example: Own 200 guns; reward: 1 random mythical gun. Another example: 1000 kills with melee; reward: a mythical melee by your choice.
9:56 I checked this on my alt previously and it was still for tickets, I assume this a scummy way from devs to force people who grinded their pass almost to the end to spend more money.
It's sad but the game is getting worse every day. Every change in the game literally forces you to spend more and more hours of time playing Pixel Gun. The developers don't listen to the players at all. The developers do not notice a huge number of messages from players about various requests from players. The developer affiliate program does not find or provide adequate support to RUclipsrs for this game. I hope Ecko that after Pixel Gun your life will continue to go well. I wish you success legend!

9:25 I feared this would eventually happen to Pixel Gun. There’s a trend where other games (besides Brawl Stars) have some kind of pass that requires you to pay real money in order to collect the premium tier rewards. Thank goodness I unlocked the premium pass before the devs did this change.
Bruh this is gonna be fucked up if we now have to use actual money cuz I literally have about 1.5k pp tickets almost 2k pp tickets and they do this shit, HELLL NOOO cuz since elite tasks have higher pp crown rewards then Normal tasks, its gonna be a lot harder to max out pp and try to earn all cosmetics from the infinite skin chest so this is gonna cause very huge complaints

Hey Ecko, We are all hanging in there with you.
As a f2p on mobile, the experience has been horrible for the past two years of this game.
Back when I started in November was one hell of a kick from nostalgia, remembering a lot of things in the game, but the grind to level 65 was honestly tough, it took me 2 months to get to max level while fighting sweats, ulti users and so much more.
Once I got to level 65 It took me 8 months to achieve all items within the veterans chest. I was so burnt out I slowly stopped playing, but I got back up and kept playing for fun after.
As a f2p its not easy getting guns and everything within the game, I have 8.7k wins total as of now as a 2 year player with over 530 guns total, my clan war experience is always horrible because of rhis new system, I've been in the same clan for 2 years and have gone through many changes, my highest valor count used to be 40k with the old system, now it has dropped to 10k, maybe waaay less.
For the last many months I've been wanting f2p offers returning to the store, so I started grinding coins, but im still waiting, I have 13k coins saved up and I want to spend them, but I can't because theirs no good offers.
You've always brought me joy when I watch your videos, keep going ecko. The toughest Soldier has the toughest battles.❤
As a player for 9 years (a few lost accounts and a 3 year account thats banned, and a current one for 4 years) the game that was once building childhood, now ending it. With how the state of the game is, one very important question has been popping up at the back of my head. "Was it worth it to devote my time, energy, and life? Was it worth playing the game at all?" There are multiple answers, but it all comes down to a matter of opinion.
Thank you ecko 😮 watching this game fall from the gem it once was breaks my heart a little I honestly just wish the devs see us as players and not numbers to extract from.

That's the major problem of this game. Everything, but the store is broken. They want to use every dirty trick in the book to make as much money as possible by making everything wanting to pick-pocket your wallet out with their predatory practice.
They never understand on what makes it a good game and what other games makes it successful. The game is being ran by businessmen. Neither of them has experience on what makes one a game good nor knows what makes a game fun and balanced. Their only job is to command the few other actual devs to push out as much predatory microtransactions as possible to compensate the sheer lack of players along its horrid reputation it's been getting.
Sadly that's how the world work because mobile games makes the most money ever despite everything there are willing to shove ads and microtransaction down your throat in order to make a quick buck while not having a slightest sort of passion ever in them and this applies to pixel gun 3d. You can observe how much they care about the money they make when so many old bugs from years ago were still here to this day left unfixed, but the moment anything that could hurt their wallets a bit (like the ulti glitch and coin/gem spawning hack), they were just patched in like less than an hour.
Let me tell you this again. Everything, but the shop, is broken.
The game is being ran by corporate suits, not by actual developers.
That’s what happens when a big corporation takes over a game, it’s happened to triple A video games in the past and they die. They wonder what went wrong, the problem is non gamers are making decisions for gamers

Idk if vaulting weapons is a good idea, as thats one of the main thing that pushed people away from old tournaments when they first released. The issue arises from constant powercreep and devs refusing to nerf the toxic meta. Ulti is a perfect example of this, it hasnt been nerfed since before the awful shotgun rework, and it takes very little skill for its damage potential, but recently its barely complained about compared to other weapons due to 50% barriers, weakening, and weapons that somehow require even less skill to be effective (icicle, arctic soul, rusted, intergalactic, royal guardian, pulling towards target, weakining, and consecutive explosions attributes). Devs just need to bite the bullet and nerf the meta (including ulti) to allow other weapons to even be viable, while still allowing people to use any weapon of their choosing
Used my mid-semester break to get back into this game after hearing that it received a PC port (I used to grind back when the Judge and Smart Bullet Bazooka were still a thing). Now have 200h on the steam version and can confidently say that it's garbage. If you insist on playing this game, then don't even bother starting on PC -- the disparity between mobile and steam is extremely apparent, especially in terms of how easy it is to acquire certain currencies. Even after adopting one of the most economic strategies possible (getting lvls through minigames mostly and only upgrading after lvl 65), I still frequently find myself at a shortage of gems, pixel pass tickets and coupons. Matchmaking is also terrible -- I was getting paired up with Harsh Punishers and Hypno-pursuers at lvl 20. The game is not fair and definitely not a good use of your time.
Reasons why I quit the game.
#1. Hackers are still a huge problem with the recent hack of gifting people a crap ton of gems and gifting weapons that weren’t available and let’s not forget public matches having hackers crashing them
#2. The developers are getting greedier and greedier with the offers on screen when you log in or leave a match to go to your armory. The store is just filled with them being ridiculously expensive for no reason
#3. A lot of weapons are broken and people are using them to there advantage. Doesn’t seem like those crazy broken weapons are going to get nerfed any time soon.
#4. They screwed up the lottery by giving little to no parts from the Novice, Fighter and Winners chest. You either have to grind this horrible game or spend money like the developers anticipated. Now yes I haven’t played this game in a year but it doesn’t seem like anything has changed since then
so dumb to think about the fact that they will sell a chest for 4 dollers when u can get a modded account with every gun for just 2 and unbannable

i actually agree with the vault idea. i have a modded account with every weapon in the game and i only use like 20. vaulting weapons would allow me to experience gameplay with different weapons and strategies without having to worry about getting one shot by op weapons when i have to hit them 2-3 times before they die. good idea ecko!
I agree with pretty much all of ur points ecko. I’m still giving this game a little more time to improve a little or im gonna quit myself. It’s unfortunate to see this game in a situation that’s hard to recover from. Anyways thank you for all the pixel gun content over the years

I played this game a lot and on my main I worked it up to max, only lacked a few weapons that they ended up releasing after they falsely banned my acc awhile back now(around my last account showcase video) and 7k dollars spent over the years on said account. Attempted to retrieve it from Support(was a support member for pg3d in the past, during game dev season) and no luck.
Realist thing I’ve heard today, thing game is a mess i played 3-4 matches the last few days and its a total mess, same weapons same system same mechanics same events nothing innovative 😐
Man, honestly, i started disliking pixel gun 3d when modifications for weapons got added, i played pg3d since the beginning (i was like 4yo), and exactly when mods got added it was much harder to play for some reason, i think pg needs to be much more simple
Pixel gun 3d now is almost impossible for f2p players. They nerfed the lucky board, the reward of your choise, and they removed 99% of the weapons you could get with coupons a long time ago.
I think a way to slightly make it better would be to bring back all coin and gem purchasable weapons back into the main weapon shop

My problem with pg:
1. Updates don't add anything new except weapons and armor
2. Pg dosent ban overpowered weapons as they used to
3. SOO MANY BROKEN WEAPONS
4. The lack of any new modes
5. Balancing is garbage and some weapons are just reskins of other and their classified as "new"
6. There are so many weapons that players don't use because they aren't strong enough
I'm pretty sure the reskinning the weapons thing started in like 2019? (Reflecter=laser bouncer, that one dark star reskin, little chthulu(I can't spell that)= Mr squiddo)
I played Pixel Gun 3D late 2017 to mid 2018, then came back early 2020 and had a couple of breaks from the game because of lost of interest. I really enjoyed the game until updates that were suppose to keep me excited and continue playing. Instead, got some repetitive updates and some updates that made it harder for free-to-play players. Eventually, I decided to quit because I won't waste my time on a game that I found "grindy" and a pain in the ass to play. There was a certain point when the developers started to not listen to community feedback and criticism and that's where it started to fall off. At this point of time, it's basically on life support and has lost it's popularity. Huge respect to you Ecko for staying with the Pixel Gun 3D community and speaking about this topic. Other people would've quit easily after the game started to fall off.
I could fix pixel gun.
1. Restore all maps
2. Nerf one shot weapons
3. Improve skill based matchmaking
4. Restrict foul language
5. Restrict modules, gadgets, pets from team fight, capture flag, deathmatch
6. Make new campaign
7. Listen to ideas from community
honestly whenever i boot this game up i dont know what to do on it, they keep adding things up but the game still feels stale somehow. ive purchased all recent dlcs and im underwhelmed by them as the previous ones which i own are so much better. this game is slowly dying and the developers would rather make a quick buck instead of fixing it, but they dont understand that once this dies out there wont be no more quick bucks for them.
Let's just be honest: The problems the game has have a main reason. The developers do not take care of the problems but above all want one thing: money. And even if you now criticize how the developers constantly only make new toxic weapons to implement their obvious marketing strategies, by getting % and helping with things like the creators chest, you only support the developers.
As A Player who has played since almost the very beginning, I believe echo Has enough of a following to to change with the devs do, but to have a lot of the voices of us players really being Spoken and heard. This game is a huge chunk of my childhood, and I know if the game dies, the Chunk is pretty much gone, Not to ever be seen again , I play every once in a while which isn't a whole lot of time I know, but each time I return, it's less fun than before. I really hope to see that devs really pick up the pieces, I really hope I see the game gets to the point where I can say "Hey I love this game", or I can say it's as good as the prime days of PG3D, but I know that day won't probably come. A lot of this is over nostalgia, But it's a lot to take in, when your childhood game is being driven in the ground.
There is so much stuff they said they would add but never actually made it, things they made worse, more expensive and so on... I really cannot enjoy this game anymore its so annoying...

My frustration is on the login system like I’m assuming it’s such a simple thing to implement and they keep slowing the addition of it down like for example I don’t even hate the game I just can’t play on my main because I switched from android to iOS and it’s annoying to grind up to level 65 again I tried and got too level 43 and everything just became too expensive so I gave up and waited for a bette Elohim system that never came.
recently I was trying to get navigation shotgun I have 1432 gems and by the time I got it I had only 422 left over. It costed me 1k gems to get 1 weapon.

I also wanna point this out: The tasks! One major issue I have is that you can't see them while playing a match, I mean, you can, but you have to select which task you wanna see the progress during the match. Also, there are some very difficult ones like getting wins in a row using a specific category (legendary weapons ones too), and the clan ones are even more difficult. So I think they should rework the task section to something more simple and casual.
Pixel Ecko is Our Last Hope, he needs our help to make these developers listen to our feedback, but they always take criticism as “Insulting” which is not what we are trying to do, we are criticism because we are trying to help them fix their game, They need to fix their game before it’s too late and it digs its own grave

Devs dont play the game enough to get to know the struggle and be able to balance the game/guns acurrately.
Ive already lost my acc due to my google play acc, I dont understand why my google play acc didnt save my progress, ive already told devs that its my account and even showed them proof that it was mine and I wanted to activate it again but yet they said that it was banned and stuff even tho i havent done anything, i mean ik for a fact they can tap into ppls account. Ive already restarted and back to lvl 65 but i cannot get the guns from my old acc especially the anniversary weapons. Devs litteraly need to fix their customer support cuz it is not helping...

I wonder what it’ll take for them to listen the whole community, they’ve said to rework things that needs changes, nerfing things that need nerfs, changing how things once were, reverting changes that were unnecessary like with the lotto system and trader vans for example, the fact that vans used to give you offers of 335 gems for a mythical weapon that could be considered incredibly good, compared to 500-800 gems for a weapon that wouldn’t be considered usable is crazy to me

As a f2p on mobile, the expethas been horrible for two years of this game.
Back when I started in November was one hell of a kick from nostalgia, remembering a lot of things in the game, but the grind to level 65 was honestly tough, it took me 2 months to get to max level while fighting sweats, ulti users and so much more.
Once I got to level 65 It took me 8 months to achieve all items within the veterans chest. I was so burnt out I slowly stopped playing, but I got back up and kept playing for fun after.
As a f2p its not easy getting guns and everything within the game, I have 8.7k wins total as of now as a 2 year player with over 530 guns total, my clan war experience is always horrible because of rhis new system, I've been in the same clan for 2 years and have gone through many changes, my highest valor count used to be 40k with the old system, now it has dropped to 10k, maybe waaay less.
For the last many months I've been wanting f2p offers returning to the store, so I started grinding coins, but im still waiting, I have 13k coins saved up and I want to spend them, but I can't because theirs no good offers.

yeah ads are such a core feature nowadays, back then, i would watch all the ads i could to get so much rewards (around 500-1000 gems per week), now that i am on pc i average a whopping 200 gems per week, by playing 2-3 hours per day
This guy not only talked in the most relatable way for every player but also spook facts about the problems and it’s very understandable for why he dislikes the game, the game is a mess.
I agree, levelling up is so usless, if ur going to buy a weapon, after a few levels, it just gets rubbish. Like the owners are so greedy, making everything p2w and adding more buyable things ( with money). If ur a f2p player like me, its going to be so hard to get to level 65 with p2w people in matches every single time bro. PG3D you got to fix this mess, you always say u will, but you never!

13. The only weapon rarity they are working on is legendary and mythic what is making the weapon rarity useless
Also I would like to see more realistic weapons in the game again for some reason they only working on some fancy future weapons now
i remember i asked the vc i was in for pg3d. i asked "what does the enchanted and mythical skins do?" noone knew the answer to it
i agree about something thats quitting because before i quit then comeback because this game is so addictive to me i was playing for 9 years now and still play today
it’s frustrating like you say is at least 98% of weapons are forgotten are used and stick with the same
thing every single day
example i’m a very old player with so many weapons that hasn’t returned for many years and i still play with them and switch it than just spamming i don’t know bees or the intergalactic treasure
and i think the devs should add a mode called classic mode that way the game would be more balanced
example.old mechanic no delay only og weapons 3 gadgets/can use several same time like creepy mech with a jetpack just some old classic mode
Honestly I just think the damages need to get balanced. The only thing that should never happen is dying without being able to see your opponents over and over. I think the problem with the vaulting system is it would create large dips in players during certain seasons and a lot of pressure on devs to revamp weapons quickly slowing any other progress.
It's happening with supercell games, too. Ever since tencent brought 84% of supercell, it's gone so more p2w, especially on clash royale. They make op cards leave them broken for 2 months, then they nerf that or this. Then, ofc make another card(s) broken and the cycle continues
I have been unable to purchase the pixel pass with the tickets; only with the real money, for the entire season and if thats not enough I have had this issue on both of my accounts, and even after contacting the pg3d support 3 TIMES now, they havent fixed it on any of the accounts
With vaulting it makes harder for f2p players to keep up with the meta shift knowing what pg3d devs do.

I personally stopped playing pixel gun for more than a year because of studying for graduation exams, but now that I'm back to playing, I feel like it's not as good as before. I feel like the Pixel Gun version of 2021 and 2022 is my favorite because that year there were many promotional events and the trader van had cheap prices ranging from 350-450 gems (max level).
Also, ecko many weapons say “adds unique effects” meaning they change the weapon animation other than just a skin.

ive quit this game for ages after sweating and catspamming for years and came back this year when it came out on steam. shit was fun for like 2 weeks but ive ended up quitting again

Another issue that I think you should talk about is the major epidemic of AFK grinders right now. You found one in your video yesterday. They all use macros to automatically jump, and move a direction every now and then, along with just spamming either a homing weapon (Scary Bunny or Plague Bringer) or they spam Intergalactic Treasurer. The gadgets they use are either nuke, cyber bees, turret and pandora's box. You can easily check if they're an AFK farmer by checking their profile. Thousands of matches played vs only a few hundred wins is the most obvious sign. Anyway it's a major epidemic and people are just getting free rewards all day all night running the macro. It's just another thing that makes this game unfair. I do report them when I can, so I have a few example videos to provide if you want them. They really do need to crack down on these players though, somehow someway.

Tbh i don't blame the afk farmers like who wants to grind a repetitive game week in a row to get decent weapons... Like veterans set... I play the game normally and still don't have all the weapons :/ ... Still don't have a single lvl X mod either ...

@@supersadra8689 I've grinded nearly the entire veteran set and armor set, I just have one graffiti and the veteran's mask left to obtain. It should be as hard as it is to get them all, it's one of the only long-term grinds in this game. Getting all X modules is the other long-term grind in this game. We don't need to make it easier and faster to complete the only 2 incentives to continue grinding the game for.
For the past 3 years I've been playing this game on and off, and each time I come back to pixel I have fun and then realise how much of a mess the game is and delete it. It's so sad because I've played this game since primary school and I'm on my final year of highschool and the game keeps getting worse.
For now i really wonder what is happened to their Community Manager, where is that "melon girl"? I remember news that they started to hear players, and do what they asking, but after a time everything started to ruin back again...

Simple improvement could be to create other "restricted" maps like Sniper Forts. Make one of them No Thru Wall / Ricochet. Start to re-emphasize skill. Maybe....
This was a very well-spoken video from Pixel Ecko. The vaulting feature sounds honestly amazing I would genuinely enjoy that. They should create events similar to things like Fortnite's Zero Build where maybe they remove some features in matches, maybe No Jump or something like that, or No Reload. Things that change up the game and stop it from being repetitive spamming and weapon abusing.
I quit this game months ago, I should’ve quit the game a long time before that. This game is almost completley unrecognizable from the game it was 5 years ago in the worst way imaginable, it’s not the game I first played it for. I quit the game mainly because of its repetitiveness and how annoying the hierarchy of weapons are. As long as this game generates money, nothing will change, nothing has changed for a very long time. Another big reason I played this game was for the community online, most of the PG3D content creators I used to enjoy watching moved on in their lives and so have I. PixelEcho is the only PG3D content creator I’m subscribed to and watch sometimes. Thank you Echo.

The pixel pass costing money happened to me and all pixel gun said is nothing we can do spend them on leveling up your pixel pass (you should start a Hardcore Minecraft World if anything happens)
Ecko Excalibur and barrier rifle can counter intergalactic treasurer because of the energy shield attribute which gives an immunity to ricochet weapons and I feel you Ecko this game is bad but it’s still fun

I also believe that one of the biggest problems pixel gun has is not bringing back whole guns in the lottery, they just unvault them in the gallery and put them in the crafting section for the next lottery especially with the old OG guns
