There is alot more to know,or I should say do. To sound like SRV. IT'S MAINLY in the way you place your fingers and vibrate each finger to get the sound. Although you are 1 of the top, say 5 guitarist l have heard playing SRV ! That is worth the price of their last meal !

I was expecting to see a good attempt at this. But this dude straight up got 90 percent of the sound and feel. If not more. Bass and drums spot on as well.

What I find most amazing! this young man is not only doing a real cover, but adding his own elements and doing so in SRV style. Some people play a song verbatim to the original. To me that is a copy that lacks a personal touch. Some people try to cover but have to omit certain riffs or notes that they are yet not capable to perform. Any true fan of SRV will know al the variations performed by SRV and recognize them when being played by someone . I can honestly say that SRV, Jimmy Hendrix and Terry Kath, all are smiling and wishing him best of luck. I sincerely hope this guitarists SRV influence continues to imbue within his playing and bring us hours of joy with his music. If someone knows the name of the band he is playing for please let me know. If not "Young Man! make a band and let US KNOW!
