    Thanks. I'm less weak and stronger because of you, dear IM Astaneh. And the thing with putting a real chessboard is great. Thanks for your time and sharing. AMIVVB1-12/11/2023.

    19:35 what if, Rxh7, followed by Rh8+Mate?

  • @nachiketa7716

    nice video !
    but 6:58 , if black exchanges queens then do not see any advantage for white (white will gain two pawns - yes but that's not because of pawn structure but more because his rook being blocked by king , otherwise rook could have easily be brought in to defend pawns) .. would have been great had that path also been covered...

    19:07 What about 1...Bxf6 exf6 2.gxh5? Isn't black winning a rook?

    • @Chessfactor
      @Chessfactor  5 лет назад

      We are not sure if we understood you correctly. After 1...Bxf6 2.exf6 gxh5 black is not winning a rook because white's pawn on f6 makes it possible to checkmate the black king with 3. Qg5+ Kf8 4.Qg7 mate.

    18:51 Rather than 1.Qh4 , isn't 1.Qh6 is more powerful move (threatening mate on g7) if 1...Bf8 then 2.Qxh7#
    If 1.Qh6 Bxf6 then 2.exf6 (threatening Qg7# also Qxh7+ then Qh8#)

    Is there a difference between weak square and outpost?

    • @antonsteinhart3398
      @antonsteinhart3398 4 года назад

      An outpost can be a weak square but a weak square isn't an outpost ;)
