In order to connect your drone to your computer, you will need software and a telemetry radio. I recommend QGroundControl. If you're in the US you will need a 900mHz radio, 433mHz in EU. Check the following links for examples. qgroundcontrol.com/downloads/ www.getfpv.com/holybro-sik-telemetry-radio-v3-500mw-915mhz-2pcs.html?DM+-+NB+-+PMax+-+Shop+-+SM+-+ALL+%7C+Full+Funnel&campaign_id=17881616054&network=x&device=c&gc_id=17881616054&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw5cOwBhCiARIsAJ5njuaT4v-IJAFfS6iyODVM179PZKPUnhhItO_FfVKtF6Xx_nLo3sw31eAaAuotEALw_wcB I hope that helps.
I tried many time to use Qground with Pixhawk 1, but it makes the motors not spinning and freeze to move, and even if it's move, the pid is too bad, but using ardupilot firmware is better and robust. You can also use " Autotune", it will give a very stable values for PID
Yes, I do find that Ardupilot works better on some of the older flight controllers. PX4 I think is geared more towards enterprise solutions. Some of the new H7 flight controllers work really well with PX4 1.13.X. If you would like to try PX4 again, let me know and I might be able to help you with your issues. support@bentsprockettech.com. :)
@@bentsprockettech Thank you very much, okay I would like to try again since I am using Px4 2.4.8, so tell me when you are free and I will call you to see the process of calibration where is the wrong issue.
While it is possible to set up a channel on your radio to control tuning that way. I do recommend getting a telemetry radio set up. It is not too expensive these days and it will give you finer control as well as increase safety.
@@bentsprockettech I understand how to set up an rc switch to initiate auto tune with mission planner, but I don’t see how with qgroundcontrol. Can you point me to that documentation? Thank you for your reply!
@@RobertSmith-wj7zf docs.qgroundcontrol.com/master/en/SetupView/tuning_arducopter.html Now, this is available if you are running Ardupilot (ArduCopter) and not PX4. If you are running PX4 you will not see the window for selecting the AutoTune swith channel. I hope this helps.
thank you very much i was looking for a video like this, i think you are the only one
I'm glad you liked it. 🙂
Друг очень познавательный видео ролик ! Я бы хотел отправить видео своего сетапа не могу настроить , есть астеляции.
If you are familiar with downloading the flight logs from your flight controller, I may be able to help.

@@mohamedelsayedmahmoudelsay3211 Cool, I should have some time this week. Email me at support@bensprockettech.com to set something up.
Is it possible to autotune with qgroundcontrol without having a connection to the computer? Or do I need to purchase a telemetry kit?
