Honestly I feel like a lot of ppl found the courage to cut off their hair wheather it be dead ends, bangs, processed ends, heat damage or just a new cut after the dumpster garbage of a year we had n honestly I’m here for it ❤️
About a week ago I decided to finally get a pixie cut. I had deliberated on it for a long time and finally just said “fuck it, lets do it” and it feels freaking awesome!
My husband keeps telling me I don’t need to cut my hair but you’ve convinced me otherwise. Just a trim 😉
If your boyfriend isn't a licensed cosmetologist or barber you shouldn't be taking hair advice from him lol. Everyone needs to trim their hair its a part of life and we can't avoid it because the men in our lives are too attached to our hair. If you don't trim, it will continue to split up the hair shift until it reached the scalp and then that split permanently damages that follicle.

This makes sense. I do a hybrid of these techniques thanks to the ladies of YT.
I condition my hair and trim a little curl by curl. Style and dry it and then the next day I get my husband to trim the back straight probably an inch. We work together using mirrors and not had a bad cut to date. When my hair was relaxed I hated paying to get my hair messed up. I have different curl patterns and porosity in my hair and only I know how my hair dries/curls. DIY cuts forever ♥
I can only dream of having as curly hair as you (even short, it's not that curly) I love my wavy hair that sometimes decides to be curly for a few days after my weekly wash and refused to give in to the pressure to straighten it when no one could cut it right! I followed your videos on self cutting and before I returned to work from a 8 wk medical leave, cut about 3 inches off the over all length. Everyone was amazed at how much longer my hair was...go figure! Still working on the right combination of products to tame my hair and your videos are a great resource

At the moment I don't use either because I'm really confused at what I need. But you always say how important it is to seal your hair.

I've just started researching how to take care of my curls the right way. I'm 42 years old and learning to love myself; it is time to do my hair right!
